Drama / Re: I Apologize To Everybody
« on: January 22, 2017, 07:02:29 PM »
I won't mid it if it means calling out your bullstuff.

The minute you joined the server we asked you to join our gang. You said okay and took the money we gave you. You then left (with the money) and made your own gang. You then started to spam build platforms to the top of our base and then rapid build bullstuff spam on top of it (WHICH is against the rules). You were asked to stop and you were dwanded off. You then persisted to place C4 and spam build around it  (which is against the rules). You were asked to stop and dwanded off again. You then PERSISTED for another time and continued the same behavior. When I tired to tell you to just play the game and stop, you killed me and took the tetra. The host promptly banned you for your bullstuff.

You weren't trying to raid us for any gain you didn't already have. You were straight spamming to piss us off. Then you placed C4 and cried, "Badmins! I'm trying to raid". You knew what you were doing you and you are playing the pity game.

You were banned for a reason. Graffiti Cat wouldn't just ban you for trying to raid us. Go tell your caretaker you just stuff you pants, kid.
Just gonna chime in here. These were perfectly legal things to do in the much superior originally hosted base raiders.
Maybe the host shouldn't give himself a bunch of money then inflate everyone else's wallets with it. Then people wouldn't be able to spam without any consequence.

I can't get into VG music if I'm not playing one because really good OSTs fit a particular mood and atmosphere that real life doesn't have.

Like I can't listen to, lets say deathroad to canada's ost, on commute since all i can think of is collecting stuff and running from zombies.
For me, it depends. If I'm still playing the game, or plan on it, then I wont listen to the OST. But if the game's stuff or I already completed it and never planned on going back to it. Then I'll probably listen to the OST, if it's good.

Be stuck playing the 3 exclusives on your system for the rest of it's lifespan
Because you know... Nintendo has been known to have a small amount of exclusives... right?

not like red dead and mass effect are gonna be console exclusive anyway.

one of the best games of 2016

i'm dying

Apparently Red Dead 2 and the new Mass Effect aren't coming to the Switch either.

oh no, what will we do without them

any new game that comes out for xbox one or ps4 is going to be demanding.
yeah but let's be real. 95% of the games for xbone and ps4 are also available on PC, among many, many other titles. and really, if you have beef with underpowered hardware, you should be loving the pc anyway.
nintendo consoles on the other hand, offer a much larger variety of exclusive titles. like, why do you think all of the nintendo consoles always have the best emulators? because there's actually a demand for nintendo console games. there isn't even a working original xbox emulator, at least, not one that works with more than like 5 games. ps1/2 had good emulators because of final fantasy.
i had no regrets buying a wii u and i wont have any buying the switch. i definitely regretted splitting 50/50 on a ps4.

Just the order I'm finding them in my playlist, not in order of most-least fav:
S4 League - Come On
Xenoblade Chronicles X - Uncontrollable
C&C Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge - Phat Attack
C&C Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge - Tactics
C&C Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge - Brain Freeze

A very very large portion of PSO (episode 1&2, episode 3, PSO2)'s OSTs that I don't feel like finding links for.
Though if I had to just pick one from each one of those 3:
Phantasy Star Online: Episode 1&2 - Abysmal Ball -Intermission- (This was a tough choice, really like Tricktrack PART2 as well)
Phantasy Star Online: Episode 3 - "IDOLA" The Strange Fruits
Resonant Defensive Phantasy Star Online 2 - Survive from D-arker's Nest - Scheol

Awesomenauts: Starstorm - I'll Make You a Star, Baby (Killing Spree Clunk is good too but people only upload 'loops', not the original)
Final Fantasy X - Challenge
Armored Core: for Answer - Cosmos
Armored Core: for Answer - Spilit of Motherwill
(Someone is Always Moving on the Surface is good too. but every single video I've found on the youboob has garbage audio quality.)
Age of Wonders/Age of Wonders III - Battle Macabre
Sonic Adventure 2 - E.G.G.M.A.N.
Serious Sam: the Second Encounter - Corridor of Death (passable quality I guess)
Sonic Dreams Collection - Fog Rolls In

trog, chill. the hostility comes from legit coders being offended that you thought you knew how graphics/optimization works nor the business decisions and the reasons for them that led to the switch having its current specs. if i were you id drop it entirely.

to put it this way - playing a lot of games doesnt make you good at designing or making them. not even reading design manuals and studying the subject makes you good at them. only actually having experience doing them matters, and when people who presume they know how to do it tell people who actually have done it how to do it, those experienced people tend to get a little aggravated at being told how to correctly do their job by this inexperienced roostery person. this applies to hardware design and business decisions as well.

to put this in perspective: im sure a ton of people had suggestions or criticisms about new years. but you did the best you could, maybe even cut out the things that people asked for so you had time to work on other features most people appreciated.

the best you can do is question why things are the way they are, not imply that the decisions that led things to the way they are can be explained by one "problem" and solved by one "solution." remember that people in the games industry aren't there because they didnt have anything better to do: the vast majority gave up possible careers in mainstream industry with better pay to do what they love, aka making games. they arent going to make decisions that ruins the experience without a decent reason, whether its financial or artistic

it's not even that, it's that you really can't compare a semi-decent framerate and resolution to a horrible smell. one of them is directly repulsive to the senses, and one of them is just coming short of something better.

unless he actually thinks something smelling like stuff is a bit short of something smelling nice.
