Add-Ons / Spawn-Logo
« on: May 06, 2009, 06:25:32 PM »
NOTE:
If you keep flaming the things I make, Ill just keep them private and you guys will not be able to use them on your servers.

Spawn-Logo
Displays an image to people when the first spawn.

Description
Useful for displaying things like a clan logo etc. when people spawn for the first time on your server.

By default it displays a smiley face and the text "Welcome to My Server!"

You *may* change the image to be unique to your server, however in that case, be sure to change the datablock and file name to avoid conflicts with other peoples' versions.

Modification Help / Giving a Minigame a Name?
« on: May 05, 2009, 12:21:47 AM »
I just read MGPP, Space's TDM mod, CityRP and CityRPG (those were the 4 things that came to my mind as using minigames started from readable scripts) and I still cannot figure it out, For now it looks like ill need to create a servercmd to put myself in the mini, instead of being able to select it from the minigame list.

The object of this minigame will be to run on a dedi and not be dependent on a player.

Modification Help / Plea For State System Documentation
« on: April 29, 2009, 02:26:41 PM »
I read the state portion of all of the default add-ons and searched for documentation regarding the state system, I cannot find any. If somebody would send me in the right direction by helping me find some documentation that I could read, it would be greatly appreciated.

A hopeful thanks in advance...

Drama / Random IRC people
« on: April 26, 2009, 09:33:58 AM »
I was on #rtb today and somebody came up to me and said the following:

Quote from: Sonicsnake55555 on #rtb
[08:49am] Sonicsnake55555: i see up your pants...

so I did a /whois on him and got the following:

Quote from: A whois of Sonicsnake55555 on #rtb
[10:16]   ===   Sonicsnake55555 <Blockhead8@cloak-ADFF2E21.range81-155.btcentralplus.com> “evvy996-8385”
[10:16]   ===   Sonicsnake55555: member of #rtb
[10:16]   ===   Sonicsnake55555: attached to zoidberg.centralchat.net “CentralChat Server”
[10:16]   ---   End of WHOIS information for Sonicsnake55555.

Based on this information, I gather that his BL name is "envvy996" and his BL_ID is "8385"

I also gathered more information based on his IP to make sure he lives far away from me, but I will not post it here because tables are annoying as heck to make with bbcode.

Add-Ons / Rapid Fire Rocket Launcher
« on: April 26, 2009, 09:07:17 AM »
This is NOT a machine gun that shoots rockets, but rather a rocket launcher that shoots at the same intervals as the normal rocket launcher, but it allows you to hold the trigger to keep firing.

Rapid Fire Rocket Launcher
No more, Kaboom, wait, wait, wait, just BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Description
Now you don't need to wait for the rocket launcher to reload, you just keep firing! Now you don't need to click click click, you just hold the mouse!

Have fun with this Rapid Fire Rocket Launcher.

Noob Crossing Print
Disclaimer: The author is not accurately described by this print.

Description
We all know the animal crossing signs, the yellow and black parallelogram/rhombus on the sides of the roads.

Those signs are made to protect animals that have not realized that cars will kill them, well noobs are comparable to these animals.

So here is another crossing sign, but this time, its blocko style.

- Credits -

Chammy - being awesome

bob&rob - making the sign

Noobs - inspiring me to make this sign. (yes, to all you noobs, you finally did something for the community [well kindof])

UberDestructoZ
My addition to the DestructoZ

Description
I would like to say "Go try it out!" However I realize that I should explain more.

This is my addition to the DestructoZ

READ THIS: YOU NEED TOOL_DESTRUCTOZ TO USE THIS WEAPON, GET IT HERE:

http://returntoblockland.com/forums/download.php?cmd=viewFile&id=1300

Why use a wand and fake kill one brick at a time, when you can do them all at once from far away using the UberDestructoZ

and last but not least, and probably the one who helped the most...

Add-Ons / Transparent Greyscale Colorset
« on: April 12, 2009, 05:12:18 PM »
Transparent Greyscale
Have better contrast on that B&W tv you use to play BL.

Description
This colorset was created because:
1) I could
2) The current greyscale colorset really is too simple
3) It took me about 5 to make because for the most part it was generated by a simple C script I wrote. (I added the "DIV: blah" lines afterward.)

#3 is a reason because I knew it would be that easy before I started.

Add-Ons / Trees colorset
« on: April 12, 2009, 03:56:13 PM »
Tree Colorset
Who says forrests can't be epic!

Description
The idea for this came to me twice, the first time, I was building in my Medieval Lands server, when Fungusamongus loaded a really nicely built tree that he made. That server uses Trueno's colorset, and it does not have many colors good for building trees. So I thought of making this colorset.

The 2nd time was when I was building a tree with The-Titanium on his "Park-Bloco" (I think that's the name) server. People were complaining how it was so dull and we should use different colors other than just the brown in the default colorset. So the idea for this colorset came to me again.

Sure you may not be able to build much else well with this colorset, but you sure will be able to make an epic tree, and you might even go as far as an entire forest.

This colorset has colors for the trunks of trees, and colors for leaves in various seasons. It also has a *few* greyscale colors incase you feel like making a small dark hollow in a tree.

Fungusamongus (BL_ID 2041) - Without his tree, I probably would never have had a reason to make this colorset.

General Discussion / Skirt made out of BOTS!
« on: April 12, 2009, 12:31:46 AM »
One day, I forget which server I was on, I lagged it nearly to death in order to make this pic, and suprisingly I got a friendly kick and not a perm ban for reason: "u = l00zer"

i think it was jookia's server, but i'm not sure.

and later that same day on that same server... the second pic.

iEvent Convention Print
A print for the iEvent Blockland convention.

Description
This is a print that I made for the iEvent Blockland convention.

More information about this convention can be found here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=65268.0

It took about an hour to make from the idea to a finished tested zip.

General Discussion / NON-Seamless Ramp Bricks
« on: April 09, 2009, 10:20:50 PM »
Somebody was in one of my servers when they said something that went about like this: "I love ramp bricks, the texture is seamless, so from the outside, other than print bricks, they are the only bricks that you can keep repeating and make it look like one big brick. You can hide spam!"

I disagree. Here is proof. You need to look closely but it is there.

This screenshot was taken while standing on the roof of one of my builds, and zooming in at full magnification on the seam between two ramp bricks.
