Help / Blockland in FreeBSD

I am wondering if i can get blockland to run on a freebsd server, freebsd has wine and is reliable and fast, so i want to run a bl server under it (and also have fun getting it to work)

is there a way that this can be done?

does anybody have experience.?

i have tried BL under PCBSD (desktopized version of freebsd) and was able to install bl and start it (console window thingy only though) and i could not get it to open any real blockland graphics window. (could be opengl related but i doubt it, idk if X might have problems handleing it aswell) and i have tried running it under the wine command line utility and wine normal. (one is optimized for text only)

Does BFC (back face curling) matter in models, some of the polys on my models are not showing, is it possible that this is because of the order of my vertecies (sorry if I'm butchering the word) so the outside is on the inside, or does this not matter in torque.

If you vote yes, please tell me why it does matter, if you vote no, do the same.

When you activate a brick, your current paint color gets set to the paint color of that brick, and you do not need trust to choose the color of somebody else's brick.

This is useful in maps with lighting that makes things look different than they are (mostly a bunch of slate edits)

I might think about making this myself in about 6 months, but I'm wondering if anybody else is interested in it too. (and would like to make it)

Ill make a model if people would like so we don't just have another wand.

I came across this today while trying to find the correct size for CI images. (22px in height if any of you are wondering, and they do support alpha and should be in png format.)

This is not used to my knowledge in v10, but if someone would like to fill me in, that would be very much appreciated.

I am just curious as to what this may have been (or is) used for.

No I am not just too lazy to search. (See the picture below.)

There is already a mod for oxygen in water, and there is a mod for flooding, but it would be more fun if we could have something like the pill or chocolate bar, but instead adds oxygen when you use it.

i have already begun work on a model for it in blender however i need someone to script. i will post what i have when it is in an acceptable state, at that point, (if ever) this will belong in the modification discussion, but right now it is still just a thought with a few hours of modeling behind it.

if you are interested, pm me or post in this thread.

it would make for some cool underwater DMs.
