    A group of people had been walking in front of the driver around 11:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when Everardo Custodio, 22, began firing into the crowd, Quinn said.

    The driver pulled out a handgun and fired six shots at Custodio, hitting him several times, according to court records. Responding officers found Custodio lying on the ground, bleeding, Quinn said. No other injuries were reported.

Off Topic / linux steam install help

okay i want to install steam on Elementary OS 0.3.1 on an asus laptop, 64 bit with an intel celeron and intel HD graphics.
elementary os has ubuntu 14.04's back end, so anything that works on that will work with me

heres what steam says initially when i try to launch it

You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run:
libGL.so.1

when i press okay to that it opens a window that says "Fatal Error: Failed to load steamui.so", then closes
i've tried installing all 32 bit libraries, and installing all libGL libraries, and tried all the commands from 3 ubuntu help threads
im out of options
help?

It starts today, with someone telling maxx that it will get better in his thread saying he's always upset and can never really get happy.

just cause cheetahs are the fastest mammal on earth does not mean that they set the speed limit for mammals

im running Elementary OS, based off Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
anything that works with ubuntu will work with me

Off Topic / laptop boot problem - need help

a few months ago i installed linux mint alongside windows on my laptop and i've been using it for months
i decided to switch to elementary os, so i made a boot disc from the disc image on the website
in the laptop bios, the optical drive is listed as a sata device, but there is no optical drive in the boot options, and i cant even find a way to get to a boot menu on here
it just wont show up
and im really loving pissed off because windows and linux recognize that an "elementary OS" disc is in the computer and lists it
i even burned two discs from two different computers to make sure, they act the same way.  
im doing the same exact thing i did to install linux mint, but yet now it wont work for some reason??????????????????????

the laptop is an ASUS X551M
