Modification Help / Re: survivalRP - holywtf bump?

No, me and Tom were the main scripters for this mod, I don't know if you ever did anything to it since I no longer work on this project.

It was fun to play for a while, but I find that when I make things, they are a lot less fun to use and play with as opposed to when someone else makes it.

I guess all the times I had to run it, fix it, debug it, and then try it out again would make it pretty monotonous/boring for me.
And my work on it is now removed due that the site we had it on was removed due they are helping Google Wave instead.
Something that a programmer has to face, is that if you create it, you will play it so much that you will get bored of it. A normal gameprogrammer does not play so much computergames after he got a job in gameprogramming than before.

Hey, maybe Mctwist will revive this.
If you do as any company does: Giving out new versions or updates; You'll see that people will continue use it because of the new features.

I still have a working version, as do a few other people. Everything except resources works great, and resources are still very functional. Just no "storage bricks" like we wanted, where you would store your supplies and people could raid them n stuff. It's actually really fun to play. I haven't been on Blockland this year, maybe I'll host it again someday when I'm really bored.
Wait... Was I the one making the resources?

You do seem to like suggesting how I should be doing things. I have plenty of space to accommodate 4.5TB of data - I doubt people will be using their 1GB quota any time soon though. Saves would only be archived to RTB as you save them - it won't immediately upload your entire saves folder. Given that a bunch of the people who have large save folder sizes have been playing for atleast a couple of years now I think I won't even hit the 1TB mark for quite a while.
I have no information about who is hosting you and how much space you have. Therefor I assumed that it was a host with limited space, no offense.

I think the per-user data cap for save files would be 1GB (although I could include an option to not upload screenshots which would give you guys a whole load more space).
Didn't you just said that there is currently 4500 users using RTB? Wouldn't that go up to 4.5 TB?! How much space does you even have?!
I suggest a quota on 100MB (or lower), where users have to choose by themselves what to upload. Like an extra option when saving, like "Save ownership" and "Save events" have.

You could try finding a free storage service with unlimited space and does approve that sort of service.

It's neat and easy to follow. Although, is it built up in a way making it possible for you to change one(or more) .css file(s) if you want to change the whole design? It is just a tip making your job easier if you possibly would get tired of the new design.

Imagine an AI system that is virtualy aware of its self like Cortana but in a game. And yes holograms will be another step after the computer screen. Imagine the Holo Deck in StarTreck.
They have already succeeded with something similar to hologram. They actually made a 3D image with 160 pixels with a huge amount of lasers pointing in several directions making the air burn.

I'm going to release RTB v4 with some non-essential features missing.
Is it released yet, or was this just a teaser?

ASP is disgusting.
I was joking. Obviously, it wasn't that obvious...

I think I saw a website somewhere which had a huge list of webhosts. Both free and not free.

Anyway, I have used www.awardspace.com for a long time now. It supports PHP, MySQL, FTP, 5 subdomains, and most things you would like to have when putting up a website, like a graphical interface filemanager. There's only 5GB/month upload, but I don't think you gonna reach that limit.
I found it fast at the first time, but has gone slower recently. It was a lot faster than freewebs anyway.

To sum up: A fast reliable webhost which do what they promise.
