Another thing is the Performance gap between intel and amd isn't very high, do you think I should save more money by getting an amd and maybe grabbing and SSD. ALSO I"M DOING EVERYTHING IN 4K RESOLUTIONI don't think you should get AMD. There's 2,000 score difference between your CPU and the 8350. That's big enough to go Intel here. Also you already have an SSD in your build. The 850 EVO.

« on: August 11, 2015, 12:41:16 PM »DDR4?DDR4 is the newer standard for RAM. DDR3 is the current standard, but in the process of being phased out as the tech advances. I haven't checked the performance difference but it may be worth looking into.
But I'd say your current build is pretty solid as it stands.

OP, have you considered DDR4? It may still be a bit expensive but with your budget it'd probably be worth the investment.

better to spend 180 on an 8 core rather than forgetin 380 on a quad
if you want an in depth guide i can message you about what goes where and what guidelines to follow, and if you really want to use NVIDIA or AMD, as NVIDIA can outperform AMD in certain cases, but AMD will again be better if you want to keep the budget near 2k, not 2.3k
cores =/= performance. Look at benchmarks to decide what's the best rather than shilling a certain company.

CPUs definitely don't do anything human like at all. Especially with level 9s, it's more a matter of punishing then anything else.
