Off Topic / Why the forget do I find trees/plants cute?
« on: July 24, 2017, 07:24:45 PM »
I wouldn't care if it got chopped down/eaten or anything.
This is a serious question I have literally shoot me

107
Now that I'll be 18 I can buy myself a gun without having to put my parents through driving me to the gun store and having to fill out a ridiculous amount of paperwork. Its going to be the first gun I'll have in my name. I have a job, and only have to pay car insurance/gas so I'm not short on cash. I don't know what to buy though.
What I want:
100% a bullpup
UNDER $1600
Reliable
Good trigger ("But Sheep bullpups don't have good triggers!" look at Kel Tec RFB) I don't need the best trigger possible, but I don't want something that has a 10lb pull or something.
Either in .223/556 or .308/7.62x51

So here are the guns that I have in mind and am considering

Kel Tec RFB
.308 bullpup thats 100% ambidextrous. Spent casings eject from the front of the gun. I hear mixed stuff about the rifle, but most positive. People say its unreliable but haven't fiddled with the gas system while people who mess with the gas systems say the rifle has never malfunctioned once. It has an excellent trigger for a bullpup, extremely low recoil for a .308, and is extremely accurate for an 18" barrel. This is currently my top choice.

2nd choice

IWI Tavor
This rifle is the civilian version of Israel's service rifle. Its a 5.56 bullpup that is extremely reliable, accurate, and lightweight. Its trigger isn't as good as the RFB's, but it gets the job done. Its very customizable, too. It can be converted into 9mm for fun plinking.

hello hello fancy seeing you all here.

Time has passed, I'm 18, and I bought my gun.

The Kel Tec RDB

Similar to the RFB, but it shoots 5.56 and ejects from the bottom. It has a much higher rating than the RFB, as the RDB is way more reliable.

I just shot it today. Out of the box, not a single malfunction. Didn't touch the gas, shot different types of 5.56 and 223 out of it.

My only complaint is that it SURPRISINGLY gets hot after 60 rounds making the charging handle hot to the touch. At least theres a bolt catch/release :)

Off Topic / Modern rap degeneracy
« on: July 15, 2017, 10:52:36 AM »
Whats up with this large flood of "rappers" that just loving mumble, and why do people like it so much?
I swear, every handicap at my school will listen to this type of "music" where you hear some dumbass slur his words like "yeeba doobuh sneep clad chigga foobuh snurk, mufugguh" with the same generic beat played with it. Has the rap genre devolved into this? I was never a big fan to begin with but this is brain hurting autistic type of bad. These artists are becoming more popular than the artists who can rap in a coherent tone.

I think they are. They have little faces and they're tiny and have bellies. They're also long and cute.

Look at this amazing channel.

https://www.youtube.com/user/UnitedGamerz4545

Totally not trash. Why does YouTube allow this type of garbage on their site? Nearly all of his videos are clickbait which is a reportable offense. All of his videos start out with "PLEASE LIKE THIS VIDEO FOR A FREE PS4 AMAZON GIFT CARD". All of his subscribers are children that believe in his "giveaways" and the comments are full of "I WANT THE FREE PS4" or "i lo ve yo u jemy yu best chan nel in the wrld"
I had a video that was mislabeled because it was a YTP and it was supposed to be random (XD) and it got removed, but this cigarette's channel is ALL clickbait and youtube isnt doing anything about it.
This is some of the lowest quality content I've ever seen on this site with his amount of subscribers. Seriously, what the forget is this stuff?

Off Topic / Is facial hair unprofessional?
« on: May 12, 2017, 02:57:16 PM »
I don't think so. However my parents do. They have the mindset that you HAVE to be clean shaven to be presentable. Don't get me wrong. Some people can grow nasty looking facial hair, but theres other styles that I find are acceptable.
I have a full beard. I shave my neck and the loopy part on my sideburns. I have it well kept. I shampoo it and everything. I unfortunately had the displeasure of shaving the whole thing off and now I look like a lesbian. My parents wanted me to do it because they want me to apply for jobs which I do. I can see it becoming an issue if I was to work with food, but I specifically avoided foodwork.

Anyway, do you find facial hair to be professional?

Edit:  I keep my beard length to maybe 1/3 of an inch

Off Topic / Can I sue my school?
« on: May 05, 2017, 08:44:43 AM »
Not necessarily me trying to sue, but theres a lot of talk about student's parents suing.

Okay, so this school opened during my Sophomore year. The school I was going to freshman year was kind of stuff so I decided to switch.
A pamphlet was sent to my house telling me about a "Design school" and a "technical" school. I was like, 'cool. Sounds like something I'm interested in.' The pamphlet listed all of the classes the school had. It listed stuff like,

-culinary
-hair cutting
-CAD design
-architecture
-Photoshop
-Media
-and a LOT more classes. Around 20.

There was a lot of features such as,
- 3D printers
- charter school
- picked acceptance
- some other stuff, I forget

So I signed up.
First day of school I was dropped off by the bus. To my surprise, the building was super small. In fact, it took place in HALF OF A CHURCH LOL. The hallways were about 7 feet wide. The two grades could barely squeeze through during transition times. All the classrooms smelled terrible, like mold. All of the children were NOT picked. They let ANYONE in. People that have felonies, have fights, and overall cause massive disruptions.

The classes that were actually there that year were,
- Media
- computer class. No CAD or anything. Just "how to make a resume" and dumb stuff.
- "Big History"

Lol what the forget? They LIED on their pamphlet. Already, me and other kids are extremely upset. Super small, unprofessional building. about 9% of classes listed were actually present, and some terrible kids. No 3D printers, no legitimate software for classes, (Browser based stuff. WeVideo!!) Some terrible lunches, even my welfare school I went freshman year had better lunch. Here, they serve ONE piece of pizza and a little milk for $3.50.
Okay, the school is stuff, but that's not sue-able.

NEXT YEAR: now I'm a junior. I gave this school a second chance. They don't have any extra classes. The hallways CANNOT handle three grades. The only improvements we have are that we finally got Adobe in the middle of this year, and ONE small, limited 3D printer. Can only print extremely small objects compared to other printers.

The main issue myself and a lot of people have is the giant lies that were listed on the pamphlet. Four teachers were just laid off because this school can't afford to pay them. There's a paper shortage; we can't even afford printer paper. The teaching isn't good. The overall test scores are some of the worst in the entire state. THEY LIED WITH THEIR ONLY PITCH TO GAIN STUDENTS.

Ruins spring/summer. I can't go outside without sneezing 99 times like a handicap. Nose drips so much I have to wipe it on my shirt. I've been sneezing so much that it's now a mixture of mostly blood and mucus.
