Seriously, forget this show. I have no idea how this hot stuff has like an 80% rating and I hear people constantly praising it. I bought an HBO subscription to watch this because of how cool it looked and sounded but I quickly cancelled the free trial at about episode 9.

"Slow burn" just means "boring and uneventful". forget the terrible characters. I can't name a single character in my time watching this except for the absolute abomination of the name, "El Cuco". If you told me this was based off of a book by Stephen King, I would've called you and your ancestors all liars.

Off Topic / How the forget do I make money during quarantine
« on: March 21, 2020, 02:14:38 PM »
I work as a security guard (part time), but now that theres a quarantine, my work has abandoned nearly 70% of its shifts, and the last 30% are taken by the full time guys.

I cannot make a paycheck. My job does not offer any sort of compensation. I just had a rough car repair bill, and I have to make money to pay for my next semester soon. I don't know how long I'll be out of work. My boss has no idea either. Nearly every store in my area is either closed, or doesn't need any extra help.

Basically, this website uses AI to randomly generate a person who literally isn't a real person. Pretty creepy..

Its obvious this game or forums won't last another year, so before it shuts down, I just wanna say thanks to the few people who still browse this place.

Blockland was such a huge part of my life when I first bought it back when I was like 11 or 12. I remember spending a whole year searching "how to play blockland for free" or "free blockland keys" and just playing the offline version where you unplug your ethernet cord to work lmao, until I got my mom to buy it for me. Since then, holy stuff. This game will always have such a deep place in my heart and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Back in 2012, there was nothing like coming home from school and joining one of the freebuilds or Zombie Survivals. I don't think I've ever sunk so many hours into a game in my life, which is crazy to think about seeing as I have almost 3k in Siege. But, this game was, and frankly still is, loving amazing (if people still played it. Fr, just go F2P.) This game has taught me so much about myself, and I've made so many friends. Spending every weekend hunting Renderman or building massive bases to blow up, that was just the best. Blockland was my introduction to PC gaming.

I started making addons for this game in like 2015, which was my first introduction to 3D modelling and coding. In fact, I loved modelling so much, that I'm going to college for CAD and mechanical drafting. Its loving crazy to think that I came to that decision from making guns in a lego game. Made some really cool friends in doing so. (Hey CTrooper, if you're reading this, you're the loving man). I remember starting a server, thinking it would just get a couple of people, but ended up being one of the most popular servers at the time, racking in 20+ people until I had to go to bed, because I hosted it locally. Whenever someone joined for the first time, it lagged the stuff out of my PC lol. I made so many Steam friends asking me "Yo, when are you hosting again?" "you hosting today?"

The forums. This was my stuff back before I discovered other message boards. You losers taught me about computers, how they work, how to build them, why my loving computer wont work, and just general life advice. This stuff has helped me IRL on so many occasions that I really can't thank you guys enough.

Thanks for being such a huge part of my life.

General Discussion / Just go free-to-play already.

title. Its obvious nobody is going to buy this game anymore, and despite it being a pretty good game, nobody is gonna buy it over playing a F2P like Roblox or playing Minecraft. Community is holding together by a thousandth of an inch size thread. Badspot should give ownership away as he has made it clear he wants this game to die.

I remember when I first went to the Institute. I went to the ocean and built a Wall. “Silence! you monsters! Get away from me!” Said the Wall loudly. The Rooster was currently in the house fighting the Clam but he did not realize religion caused the “Pizza Hut Attacks” so long ago. He truly wanted to go to China and sell bootleg Yugioh cards but his Mother was a Self supported single celled organism. The whole concept of “hamburger reincarnation” was abolished years ago but was later brought back in the “Theory of Pine Cones and Pianos; however this comes with a cost, the light in the room was flickering and I forgot my car in the bathroom.
The normal man sees with two eyes, the blind man sees without eyes, and the dead man sees with rotten eyes; but what eyes do I see from? One might ask, “Am I still alive?” What is life?” “Can I get a large Sweet Tea with NO ice?” But why ask the obvious? We have all the answers right in front of us but we are either too blind, hungry, poor, or just plain stupid. They all say how this life is great and the whole world is “Good Enough” but this whole world and the life we are living now and have lived is TRASH. Everyone is stupid, pointless, and disgusting; even my friends and family, even the people who have died and are dying, strangers and acquaintances. It was all corrupt, right? Read on to find more truth within the nonsense. We were always great.
The doctors couldn't save the kid. He was just too sick.  They had thought it was serious but the laughter scared them. The tree that never died granted their wish. 10 days later milk went on sale at Acme. The world still remained the same. It did not care about them or the sale, it was a scary truth but it was the REAL truth. The nice thing was it rained today. We all laughed about the game and got kicked out of the mall.
I love the zoo. Grocery shopping was a chore but when they were with me it was even worse. You hated the feeling of the temperature slowly getting colder, slowly making us scared as we ate the cheeseburgers. The bugs were really annoying, they ate through all of my perennials and thus ended the ice age. In space they told us so, that's how I know.
“Watch out man!” I told him just in time. The enemy team was really trying this round. I laughed as we quickly started winning the game. The food was ready but the game didn’t end, so i had to make a quick decision. I decided to goof off singing Bowie and Lennon while playing my bass too loud. The end goal is not to accept me into this college because this essay is complete garbage. We’re still breathing right? Yeah, I’m pretty sure.

Off Topic / Anyone ever get bitten by a goose?
« on: June 24, 2019, 08:59:00 PM »
I feel like a goose bite isnt so bad, and is a small price to pay to be able to feed/pet them. I dont care if theyre hissing at me. Theyre cute and I WILL pet one. Stupid bird how hard can their bites be? Im sure Ill be fine. I will lure one in with food, probably bread. I know its not good, but they like it and I can get closer to them. I then will pet one. Right on its little, cute, soft, birdy back. Will I get bit? Maybe. It might let me pet it as it is eating and not giving a stuff. It might run off, which would mean I just have to feed it more. Maybe hand feed? I see some youtube videos of people hand feeding geese. Once I get its trust again, I will lay out food onto the pavement. It will then come as close as it can to me, allowing for a goose back petting. It is basically a fool-proof plan. I will report back on the texture of the goose.

But is it worth the bite?
