No, the gorilla was dragging a defenseless and innocent child who had fallen into an enclosure after the parents' attention was interrupted. The only immediate course of action to prevent any further harm of the child was to kill the gorilla. Since a gorilla is a wild animal who's intentions are hard to read accurately, any alternative action might have been suitable, but nobody wanted to take any chances.

I was under the impression they killed the gorilla after the fact because of what I saw on the television, makes a lot more sense now that I know they killed it while it was dragging the child.

Before birth, the term fetus is used.

Because it cannot survive without the aide of the placenta and umbilical cord until the 3rd trimester (where less than 0.01% of abortions are performed)? Because it doesn't have established thalamocortical connections until the 26th week? Because it's less than two inches long at the start of the fetal stage? Because it's not breathing? Because it weighs 8 grams? Because it's brain isn't functioning until later into the 6th month? Because it doesn't have formed bones until the third trimester?

There's literally no reason to continue. You keep stuffting out the definition of fetus as if it means anything. Every dumbass and his dog on the planet knows that the fetus is an 'unborn baby', the real debate is whether or not a parasitic mass of cells which is incapable of emotion, breathing or movement is considered valuable 'human life'. I'll give you a hint: a pine cone is not a pine tree.

Can unborn offspring survive on their own? Have they developed into a baby? No they have not.

I guess abortion should be legal until 16 because most kids can't live on their own until then and are just parasites

  I'm right about semen having potential yet procrastination is not infanticide, then carry over the logic. A fetus is not a baby, does it have potential to be born yes, but it is not a baby.

I don't think you understand what a fetus is, it is a mass of cells that are developing which also are completely dependent on the mother. It's a parasitic relationship. A baby is NOT a fetus.

And semen is carrying half of the necessary chromosomes for human life. All sperm have potential to fertilize an egg.

You're not understanding me, semen has the potential to be a baby. A fetus does too. Does not mean procrastination is committing infanticide.

Semen does not have the potential to be a baby otherwise a bunch of 13 to 16 year olds would be fathers. A fetus does have the potential to be a baby because that is literally a baby in the making.

Guess what, sperm have the potential to be an "unborn baby" too. A fetus has not fully developed into a baby at all according to over 90% of all abortions.

Y'all need to take biology, semen is not an unborn baby. Steel is used to make a car but steel is not a car.
