Badspot has got some issues yeah, but who doesn't. No one is a perfect person, and some are maybe more flawed than others. Now that's not an excuse to make socially unacceptable and rude actions OK, I'd just like to point out that everyone here has issues, not just Badspot.

Maybe It's the constant outrage and cringe in this community In combination with Badspots flaws as a developer and person that has led us to where we are now, not just BIG BAD BADSPOT. IDC if I'm right or wrong. Just wanted to share my opinion that could maybe give others a different perspective.

I've found that BL will not close if I've clicked on a link in the game. It opens up internet explorer and will not shut down unless I kill internet explorer in task manager.
After doing that Blockland will stop running in steam.

I found out about it back whenever Blockland was still actually advertising itself online.
When I was young, I was on the Roblox homepage when I saw a banner add for the game. I immediately checked the website out that it lead to in great interest. I was absolutely enamored by the Lego style look and fun creative gameplay. I asked my mother and father If they could purchase the game for me.

I begged for 3 days until they finally did LMAO

Once I had the game (which I was playing on my Mother's old windows XP E-machine) I was hooked. The people and cool mods that were on servers just blew my mind. I made so many good memories playing zombie survival servers, freebuilds, and some random RP's lol.

Thank you all for making all of that happen. It was a really cool and core part of my childhood :)

HOLY stuff!! I did not read this at first. I forgot that you could load maps back into BL but now they're developing shaders to work as well?!?!?!!? I always loved maps and hated that they were removed. Good to hear that there's people still wanting them back. I wont get too excited but I really do hope they pull through with this. Maybe it's what BL needs.......

Is Badspot _dead?

Sorry if the questions are stupid. I like to revisit every once in a while for nostalgia reasons. I would very much appreciate if anyone could catch me up with what's going on in the community.
Is it just the stone cold veterans still around? If so what have you all been up to on here?

Wanted to make a post about the good old times of Blockland and for people to share their fondest memories of the game. I just started up the game today again after a year and memories came rushing back. I remember when i first started playing pc games at around six years old. One day I saw an ad for Blockland. I begged my dad to get me it and when he did I immediately installed and went to playing. I remember the abundance of players and the static maps. Man I miss those days. Now Blockland is like an alcoholic slowly dying of liver failure...
