or maybe the white people just try harder and end up more successfulor maybe the white people have the privilege to be part of a race that, thanks to history, has had much more wealth floating around. maybe white people have the privilege to live in a very good neighborhood and go to a great school where teachers actually want to teach and aren't there on low pay. maybe white people have the privilege to be motivated by a welcoming white community to go to a great college and earn 6 figures.
i like how the picture shows one homeless white man and leaves out the white-dominated business system and how it favors white people over black people due to natural bias
Good old white privilege.
Also I love it when Path talks about privilege and his "oh so hard life give me sympathy because of my race" card is pulled. Dude, you've been telling people for years that you live in a rich neighborhood, tutor kids for $$$, and go to one of the biggest schools in the USA. Which is it?Since when does "dont call me monday" equate to "oh so hard life give me sympathy because of my race"
for all intents and purposes, words literally mean whatever people think they mean, that's how language works. as long as there's an understood connotation, it doesn't make a difference.this. brother has a different connotation than monday innthis day and age. Almost everyone knows it by now, but of course there are some people want other people to live life their way
You'd be wrongi'd be right. If you did, you'd know that new music and 20 year old music are VASTLY DIFFERENT
have you like listened to any rap made in the last 5 years?i have the feeling that you havent listened to any popular rap since the last 5 years
Most of it hasn't changed since the 90's
Maybe now but it used to be associated with the thug life and that's how most adults see it.what thug life? I know people who are goddamn a student goody two shoes who say it. Its not a gansta thing anymore; pop culture has transformed the meaning into a safer word
brother is such a dumb word though. It'd be like me going up to another white person and saying "what's up white trash"thats a very weird comparison, esp since brother really means friend or homie.
Does that include being whiteit doesnt matter what race you are, white back hispanic etc. if you're tribal, you're tribal. To fight against white on black racism and support black on white racism is purely racism and hypocrisy
again for the 100th time brother isnt even tribal anymore. It just means colleague and people use it freely
ahuh?let me rephrase that: i hold a grudge against anyone that is tribal in any way
If it was the other way around, you would be freaking out rn.
for the 100th time im forced to reiterate that i am not tribal against white people, i just dont like racism. they're two completely different thingsthe only people i ever demonize are people who are tribal or defend racism, even as a joke
if you don't like racism stop promoting it lolare you handicapped? never once i have promoted racism
Path and Jitank are the perfect example of the demonization of the white working-class man. That's the thing most responsible for driving a wedge between demographics and the reason people like Annoying Orange have a real chance of making it to presidency. White people feel like the odds are stacked against them since what they can say is so filtered and everything they do/say can be used against them while black people can literally get away with generalizing the entire Caucasian race as a bunch of starfishs/tribals/privileged starfishs and any accusation you make against them is diverted by the ancestor argument.for the 100th time im forced to reiterate that i am not tribal against white people, i just dont like racism. they're two completely different things
I'm all for racial equality, but this is not it.
When was the last time someone called you monday irla year or so ago in public. I've only been called monday twice because i have the luxury of life in a very progressive and respectful city
Response?^when it comes to race arguments you are pretty much on point and correct. The way you express these arguments, though, is very very unattractive. You'd probably have more credibility if you didn't have such a big ego
OT: Phant, i know i can be annoying but i do appreciate you defending me when you feel im in the right. Thank you.
