horrible exampleyou missed the point of my post, which is that bullying PSAs don't glorify the valiant efforts bullies have put in into making their victims lives miserable. that's what some conservatives want, for the 'heroic generals' who promoted violations of human rights to be glorified as much as the victims, which is absurd

oftentimes the bully is a victim of abuse themselves and in an attempt to grasp at any power over anything they attack other people

That may very well be true, personally I would prefer if history is presented from a global, all-encompassing perspective rather than cater to cultural trends. The past hasn't changed, and it would be nice if we could just present the facts and all perspectives such that the curriculum remains static.they probably did but the conservatives didn't feel comfortable with the facts being presented and wanted it to be written according to them, which is to say, not focusing on human rights
