I see now. Good to know you've got a game plan.

Can't wait to see how the updated version turns out!

Sorry for the confusion. The bit where you say "If I raise the front of the hood, the headlights and/or the front bumper risk looking too tall/bulky" is what I meant.

What I was trying to say is this. Currently I feel that the front end gives off the impression of a much sleeker car (like a 90's Foxbody convertible). So to have the roof/window frame come up abruptly looks a little unnatural.

This picture is what I meant by decreasing the slope of the hood. So that it sits more squarely with the rest of the car (like the trunk). However as you pointed out the front end would look to bulky. I wasn't trying to say that the window frame would be directly affected, but that the aesthetics as a whole might become more natural but too boxy for the look you're going for. Once again I apologize for the confusion and I hope that makes more sense.

(Just saw your latest edit. And I'd agree to focus more on the Lumina).

you walk a dangerous path.
No guts no glory.

Anyway, onto the car in the picture. I don't mind the height of the trunk but I kinda think the front end needs to be raised. However the car might look to tall if you do that. As in the slope of the hood should be decreased a tad so that the window frame isn't at such a steep angel as it is now. However that might make the car look too boxy.

exactly what i was going to link
you're a dead motherforgeter (guaranteed!)
I love that video so very much. I've watched it at least 6 times now.

Hopefully a parody of that video will get made eventually. Because we need a new version of that timeless classic.

Thanks for making awesome cars!

I'd just like to point out that; while I love FCA interiors, the air vents in the middle of the car looks like an afterthought.

I think the driver and passenger doors are a little too long. Other than that though it looks good (especially that red you put on the model).

Pretty much anything FWD made by Chrysler from the early 80s to the early 90s was a K Car or some variation of it's platform. Economy cars, luxury cars, minivans, convertibles, etc.
Don't forget the Daytona! (The 80's Era Dodge Daytona technically is a G-Body however the platform in itself is a variation of the K-Car platform).

I don't remember who said this, but someone said that with all the sort of "cool" cars being made into Blockland (Chargers, Challengers, R34 GT-Rs etc etc) that "normal" cars often get overlooked. Thus it's nice to see just a plain, normal car being made for Blockland every now and then (or in your case almost mass producing them).

I can't speak for why everyone else is excited to see K-Cars, however they barely get implemented in any game (and I mean as cars you can drive, not AI cars). They get overlooked so often (tons of 80's cars do) that it's nice to see a sort of forgotten Mopar having the chance to be made.

As James May said: "Look. I like sitting 5mm above the ground as much as any body else. But skinny tires and a rolly polly body? Now that's fun."

That last bit doesn't totally apply to me, but the sense of "normal cars can be fun too" in his words does. (And sorry for the sort of double post).

If you were to make any of the K-cars, you should totally make them beaten up and trashed
There goes my hopes of driving around in a nice Aries coupe lol.

(Edit) I'd just like to point out that the car below (Dodge Omni) is not a K-Car.

these are HOT
you should do a k car
That would be awesome dude! I have to say though, I didn't expect anyone (other than me) to think of that as a car for BL.

Looks like you're in a car making frenzy dude lol. Keep it up!

Add-Ons / Re: Teneksi's Garage grand reopening: EMPEROR '79 released

That coupe reminds me so much of the old Dodge Aries K coupe. Honestly I'm really glad this got released, another normal (in a good way) car to add onto the list!

I know this isn't very important to the topic at hand (and you all can put me on blast for it later) but I'd just like to say that the hood and the roof on that low poly Renegade sucks. There's a "lump" before the front fascia that shouldn't be there and the roof isn't high enough (as the windows look like their about to crash into roof itself). And the front fascia is swept back a little bit when it shouldn't be.

"Modern cars can be insanely tricky to make." This, so hard. The trouble with the Renegade is that (as I think you stated) is that there are a ton of surfaces that don't seem friendly for modeling.

(If trying a different method doesn't work, I may be able to make some blueprints that have more angles to them).
