Hey I got bored while I was away from the computer and wrote a story on my iPod. Tell me what you think!
A man drives home from work at 8:00 pm every night for the past 5 years. He makes a right on Oak street, then a left on Maple. This continued for five years with no change of route.
One night, at exactly 8:00, he goes to turn on Maple and another car pulls out in front of him. The car was white with a black stripe down the front. It had a bullet hole sticker on the passenger side window. The two cars collide and rotate so that they are parallel to each other. The cars came to a halt. The driver of the white car was killed on impact. The other driver survived with no physical damage.
The driver went to court the next day and was sentenced to 10 years in prison starting next month. The next day on his way home from work. He avoids Oak and Maple street and takes the back roads. He turns left into a forest just outside of his town. After the accident he was issued a rental car that had many miles on it. The old car must have run out of battery. The man sat in the car. No phone. The battery is dead. No heating. He couldn't just sit there all night. He had to find a way home.
He sees a car coming his way. He tries to stop it but it pays him no mind and keeps going. The next car did the same thing. He finally stops a car. It was a white car. It had a silver scratch on the side. He climbs into the passenger seat of the car and looks over at the driver. He was a tall, pale man with a gray beard. He smiled freindly back at the man and asked "Where to buddy?" The man hesitates to answer but finally tells him his adress.
After driving for a while they come to Oak street and make a right. They then come to Maple street and turn right again. The man asks "Why didn't you turn left? My house is right there." The driver replies "I don't drive down that road anymore. I got into an accident two days ago and killed a man in a silver truck. He died on impact."
