Well, it's a little late. Already set it up with her. I'm still gonna talk to her afterwards, but we're gonna have some time to kill in the space between her getting off work and the movie starting. Plus, the place closes at 9:00 which doesn't give more than 45 minutes to eat.

Not sure how a joke is stuffposting, pretty sure you're only dropping this because Tony said it.

Good luck with the gal, man!  Not sure if this has been questioned/answered so sorry for a repost, but is there anything you both hold to closely?  For example, are you both really into games, or art, or anything you can do together like that?  Being able to do things together like that is good for bonding and you can get to know a person better through that.

Thanks dude. She used to play paintball, but can't anymore due to her shoulder. She seems like kind of an outdoorsy person otherwise, and I like to do stuff outdoors. So hiking and stuff like that is always an option.

I assume you mean dating, not loving. She agreed to the date, then backed out, then I went to the field again, and now we have another date that's all planned out and everything.

And so would this one. Nothing about this has been normal at all. It's all in a mixed up order, with like 2 warm-up first dates, and then forget all.

This is shaping up to be one of the best Christmases ever for me because even though I already know probably 75% of what I'm gonna get, I at least had ideas for what I wanted this year. Brand new paintball setup of my dreams, a loop pedal, and some sweet shoes.

Ever since I joined my school's jazz band last year, I've seen my guitar-playing skills increase drastically. After all, if you can play jazz, you can play anything. And I get at least an hour a day to practice that jazz. Although, I'm still more of a rhythm guitarist when it comes to performing. I'm working on Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson right now.

I've been looking for some fun things to play lately to expand my repertoire, but haven't found much. What are some songs that you guys like to play? They can be acoustic or electric, as I like to play both. No tuning lower than D Standard, please. Country, rock, classic rock, alternative, metal, jazz, swing, or anything with a guitar part (or even one that's transposed to a guitar part) all work.

Suggest stuff.

Nah, we're good. Our whole relationship has been pretty unorthodox, and should it succeed, it will be for awhile. We're far apart, busy, and we met in an unordinary way. But we've made it so far, and if she's worth it, I'll make sure it works out.

I mean, the movie itself doesn't seem too bad. It didn't get good reviews, but could still be a fun movie. The food could be a problem though, since it's the only one nearby (I think, based on what you said). I'd probably try to reschedule/change locations. It would suck having to do that, but if it would be a first date, you'd want it to be good.

Yeah, aside from a Subway, it's the only one nearby.

Like I said, there's a really nice theater about 15-20 mins away from the field, and some pretty good eating around there, but she's gonna be coming straight from work, so I doubt she wants to drive nearly an hour to get home from a first date (I'd drive her, but I don't have a license). There also isn't a whole lot to do Sunday night, and I can't change it to Saturday.

Is there anyway I could change the date? Movies aren't really prime first date locations in the first place. I also don't know how the theater itself looks which is kinda iffy.

Okay, I just forgeted myself a little bit. We finally got a date set up, but it's a movie date. The closest movie theater to the field is about 5 minutes away, as opposed to the next one which is like 20 (remember, she's already driving 35 minutes home in the opposite direction). The only food is a somewhat decent (the reviews are all polar opposites, very few inbetweens) Mexican place. However, the theater only plays one movie at a time, and it's Daddy's Home. It doesn't look like a great movie, but there's not much I can do about it since we're both pretty busy people. I can always just blame it on the fact that it's new. On top of that, I've never been to the Mexican place before so I'm taking a pretty big chance.

I can't really ask to reschedule or change locations, can I? That just makes me look like a beta, but then if I don't, I may be royally forgeted. Hell, I've already talked to her twice about it over the phone. Any suggestions?
