It looks to me like it could be a yellow jacket just because of the build. Wasps are a little slimmer. Get an airsoft gun and see if you can shoot off one of its wings.

I picked up an iPhone 6 in the hallway on the way to my fourth hour on Monday, with intentions to turn it in after that class on my way to lunch. The Lost Mode went off in the middle of a test and then when the teacher asked what it was, I told her that I had found it in the hall and was going to turn it in, but then she gave me this look that said she didn't believe me and now my class thinks I'm some kind of hoodlum

Still, just turn it in. It sucks to lose a phone.
