Drama / TTT threads - this is getting ridiculous now.

I am incredibly fed up with the "Triple T Trollers" threads. we all pretty much know that the TTT doesn't exist at all, and we just gave any troll in the game that name and assumed they were all part of the group. The constant post of a TTT thread is roughly 1 or 2 per month. This needs to halt completely as it's stupid and ridiculous, not to mention childish.

most topics come with insufficient evidence confirming that they are a member of this so called "Triple T Trollers"

the title pretty much sums up what i'm looking for.
a very sophisticated item that acts similar to the starman from the super mario series that destroys everything in its path,

You know how Halo's covenant plasma grenade sticks to people (or vehicles) when thrown?
after hours of constant searching on the forums, i haven't found one sticking grenade.
if someone were to make such a thing, they deserve a knighthood.

yes.

The area i am going was once a first world war zepline dock thing, so i might find some interesting bits of history, there is also roman road. oh, and also there was an old railway running through it.

I shall post my findings directly here,
in the meantime, discuss anything metal detecting related.

I think Cubelands is getting too obsessive with this dog called boo.
He's already posted several threads about the damn creature, and probably several more are on the way. This is becoming silly, and a needs a stop.

the service is absolutely not worth your money, or patience in my case.

so heres the story about

summer 2010, we get rid of BT for some reason to get Virgin Media with the catch up tv crap.
nice and fast at first, this lasted for a couple of months... but that doesn't matter

... until the couple of months passed;

internet kept on dropping out, speed was lowered, etc.

we reported this "fault" to them, so they "mended" it... then it happened again, and again... so eventually virgin gave us a "super hub" to make us shut up, works for a while all fast like it should...

then it happens again, but not as frequent.


so, we then moved house, to where i am typing now.
internet was behaving well, until march, it's been an starfish.
several calls to them later (all ending with "it'll be fixed on -date here-"), and on the day, the fault happens again...

several engineers round ours later, they put this thing into the router...

still problems...


phoning them up again... given the answer "there is a major fault in the area.."


"god dammit, how long will this go on?" i thought to myself.

we will never know...



tl;dr virgin media dont know stuff about making their broadband enjoyable

Drama / 2 server attacks in 1 day?

yesterday two blockland servers were attacked by something mysteriously puzzling, not even I know.
The first to be attacked must of been Munk's Throwmod TDM, as bricks were randomly placed everywhere, the build was painted and spammed up with trees.
The second to be attacked (to our knowledge on the forum) was Bluezone.
Bluezone was "attacked" by IketheGeneric, even though, its something we all know Ike wouldn't do himself because we all know Ike is well behaved as an admin (especially Super Admin).
I believe there is some sort of connection between the two recent attacks...


Anyways, heres my evidence and theories.

Server's up

Hosting a new map under Kniaz's consent! :o

Note the time; 7:30pm.
and the Munk topic was at 11pm.
Could Ike attacked Munk's server too after he was banned from Bluezone?

After browsing a couple of pages on the day of the attack, I came across this vital piece of evidence;

SYN flood on my server, give me some time to handle this stuff.

did someone or thing attack some Blockland servers, impostering as IketheGeneric, attacked Bluezone, then attacked Munk's?


The strangest thing was that Kniaz (Bluezone co-host), could not connect due to BZ.

i used to remember the old planets map how there was planets everywhere.
 but since V21 has eliminated this feature, how about some planet bricks?

just simply an oval brick at the size of a 64x64 cube (or bigger/smaller), but you can only enter half of the brick (as the planets surface).
build inside it, of course.
it could have different patterns like a planet with craters or one like earth

if you are concerned about poly count, it could just be a cube or whatever.

Drama / Fringe - disobedience and build stealing

...as I was hosting my Second World War build server, a player called Fringe decided to be totally disobedient to my instructions.
I told him he couldn't make a vehicle spawn as I did not want planes or vehicles flying around. I warned him several times to stop spamming vehicle spawns; but yet he continued.
I gave him his final warning, but he argued back saying how planting a vehicle spawn is building.

... not its not. It had nothing to do with the build.
he also accused the thing I was inserting into my build as a "Free Model".
 how dare he.

and the cheeky blighter saved my build because of it.

i've been looking everywhere for Stratofortress' Sherman tank. I think someone called Blockstar attempted to submit it to RTB but with no success due to too generic (i think)

I enjoyed playing with this tank on someone else's server after strato left , and hopefully other people shall too enjoy the tank..
