Simple script idea: in addition to the change color button, there should be a little colored square that you can click on, and it will give you a color wheel with HEX/RGB/Hue Saturation stuff, and a button next to it that says "Apply"
when you select text and click "apply" it will add [color:#hexval] [/color] envelope tags around it of whatever color you already specified

But seeing them again made me realize that they would need to be re-worked to fit the style and I can't be forgeted to do that right now.
