Off Topic / Help me find a new Monitor/GPU

My Asus monitor hit the wall and started to flicker and had an image burned into the LCD so I have to get a new one and I think I might as well get a new GPU since I have a GTX 650 and It's starting to overheat and it's just starting to get near the end of the road.
For the monitor I just wanted something that is 60hz and is 1920x1080p. I don't want a 4k display since they're still expensive as hell and I don't want to pay for that.
Budget for monitor: 150 is really pushing it.
For the gpu, I would like something that has 2gb+ of vram and is primarily nvidia.
Budget for GPU: 250 is my max.
For the monitor I just wanted something that is 60hz and is 1920x1080p. I don't want a 4k display since they're still expensive as hell and I don't want to pay for that.

Mind helping me pick a Wii-U game to buy? I only got money for one game currently, and I would like something that has a high replayability rate like MK8.

Off Topic / I switched to full on firefox.

I switched to full on Firefox around the second to last week in may. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't missed chrome one bit. Firefox is a lot faster, and is more reliable. Hell the addons I have for it I found much more useful than the ones on the chrome store. Though the only complaint that I have with it, is more for the mobile version. It's slower than chrome for mobile, but I'm kind of nullifying it since my phone is a couple years old and doesn't have that much ram and it gets taken up almost already with things such as 24/7 Skype and Steam running in the BG.
TL;DR: I love Firefox and I'm not going back to chrome.
Also, Mozilla's Thunderbird has been a charm for me with e-mail. Especially since I use it to work with IRC.
I can't believe my own arrogance has been holding me back from such a wonderful browser for years.

This is more towards drm and not towards the game itself. I haven't had a problem with the game itself ever.
So today I felt like screwing around in GTA like most people do, and I go to play and get to the sign in screen. It tells me to sign in, and I thought nothing of it. Skipping time it's now 2 hours from when I started and I can't sign in to even play single-player.
The fact that you have to sign in to R* servers just to play single-player is infuriating. The worst part is, is that it's a steam problem and not even the rockstar servers. I understand that every game is entitled to be protected from piracy, but when it goes to a level where the games offline mode is unplayable due to maintenance is just boggling my mind. I feel that the game that I payed 60 well earned USD should be available to me whenever and not when R* or Steam feels like it.

Thought i'd continue the convo since I also wanted to put my two cents in. It's also in drama now since if arguments break out it'll be in the right section so it doesn't seem out of place.
I'll link the old thread in reference. Especially since I'm going to respond to something and getting ready quotes would be tedious.

I'm going to agree with what nal said for a majority of the thread. I personally just see the groups as people who hang out and like to be around each other. It's not for the sake of wrongfulness (well, a majority of the groups aren't.). It just brings people together with a certain interest. Even on the forums most of the people who post are disconnected from the group(s) they're in. I can speak for myself on that last point.

A contact high is a psychological phenomenon that occurs in otherwise sober people and animals who come into contact with someone who is under the influence of drugs. It involves a supposed transfer of the physiological state of intoxication. A glossary of drug users' language from the 1970s describes the term as "a psychogenic 'trip' without taking drugs by being close to somebody while he or she is on drugs.So to start the story off, It was about 3/4 years ago when I was just starting high school/getting out of middle school. I was trying to catch some sleep at night but my parents were having a party that night and my step-sister at the time had a few friends over. I smelled something funny and saw smoke out-side. I started feeling odd and I remember people standing in the corner of my room and I had multiple faces stare at me and fly around the room. As you can tell, I was tripping balls. But at the time the old 13 year old me had no idea what this was and started crying my eyes out since I couldn't understand what was going on. In the end, It wasn't until 2 years later that she confessed that she was smoking in the backyard. I never smoked in my life and I don't drink, and I think you can see why.
