Off Topic / Java Will Not Work on my Computer.

Well, as you can probably assume from my thread title, Java does not work on my computer.
And now you're probably asking 'well jeez why didn't you already get it fixed,' well that's because I have just not really needed it until now when it's gotten to the point where it severely agitates the loving hell out of me when I try to play a Java-based game like Minecraft or Runescape.
I can play Minecraft, but only the standalone executable file, (I can't say for certain why but obviously it has to do with the fact that it's not being run through a browser.)
I just recently tried running the server hosting program for Minecraft, and found out that that too, does not run, because it requires Javascript.
If I try playing Minecraft or Runescape in my browser, it crashes. The program for hosting servers constantly gives me this error (see attached image)
and I've tried everything that I've read (update Java/uninstall+reinstall, etc) and it just doesn't work. It annoys the stuff out of me.
My specs:
OS: Win7 Home Premium 64bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 965 @3.4GHz
RAM: (dunno why it matters but whatever better safe than sorry) 12288MB (yes, 12GB)
I doubt what harddrive I have really makes a difference, so if anyone could help me refrain from tearing my loving eyeballs out I'd greatly appreciate it. Kthx

tl;dr java doesn't run; normal computer; updatedreinstalledetc loving help me please

Edit: oh yeah herp derp and my GPU is ATI Radeon 5700 w/approx. 4GB memory

I got hacked. I don't know how or why, but that's not the issue. My Steam account was hacked along with my E-mail and various other IDs. I'm just giving you guys a heads up. It's a bad virus, I can't do anything at all on my brand loving new computer and this sucks major richard. I need suggestions, fast.
Edit: I keep getting dialog boxes saying I was hacked, too, so yeah.
Edit: Found out it's Cantoxe and I've been hacked for two days and I didn't even know it. He found me ingame. Can any action be taken against his BL_ID or anything?

This decal is supposed to be all black (including your blockhead's entire torso--yes, this is designed to make your whole torso black, but for a reason) with a color **of your choice** to go with the black. This is intended.
Edit: Also I am aware that this layout is REALLY REALLY stuffty.

Off Topic / Building Computers--A Few Questions

Well, I know what parts of a computer do what and the general compatability shizz, but I'm still scared of building my own machine. I have a few questions:
-What could having more (as opposed to less) PCi slots on a motherboard result in?
-What ports do I need, no matter what? (Please state even the obvious ones)
-How do you actually connect different parts? (Aside from chips, those are fairly obvious)
-What OS should I use for the best results (I'd like to use 7, but if there are any other recommendations, please suggest.)
-Is having more than one monitor going to decrease my performance?
-Should I have more than one monitor if I intend on gaming? (I don't necessarily intend on doing so)
What I already know:
-A motherboard is the chip that allows all the parts to work together
-Graphics cards and sound cards are connected via PCi slots (sometime, or all the time?)
-I know what a graphics card, CPU, sound card, harddrive, and RAM chip does. (I know what all of the parts are designated for)
Basically, I just need help getting the right parts and figuring out how to connect them. Any help would be appreciated--feel free to link me to articles and such. It's all welcome. :)

Hey. My mom would be pissed if I asked her about it, so I'm asking you guys. I think there's something really wrong with me. I just slept for 17 hours, and I'm still tired. And no, it's not the "I have nothing to do--let's go sleep!" tired, it's "I can't stay awake because I'm passing out," tired. Any ideas? CrumpetMassacre suggested a vitamin deficiency, which is possible, but I want to know of other options.
Also, this has been happening for over 2 weeks straight, it wasn't just this one time.
