i'm thinking of making a section in OP for server advertisements where as the /price/ to get on the list is the host having to write a description of his gamemode with a link to the mod and map; my major fear tho is that it won't catch on and that this thread will just fall into obscurity

I truly respect your opinion, but how can creativity leave our minds? First of all, people have the option to play the game or not, if there are no 'good' servers to play on DON'T play at all, it's your own damn opinion. YOU even have the option to play Singleplayer, it's not new. I don't know how you can indirectly insult an audience of casual players on this game. It's stupid because you play no contribution to this so called dilemma, that is technically meaningless.
