avoid even downloading these at the moment. if you're on a old version and haven't updated, DO NOT UPDATE.
EDIT: according to some, the problem has been resolved. avoid downloading audacity and classic shell on fosshub for the next couple days until there's an actual announcement on the issue. video here.

I fixed the issue using g-parted it was on a fresh install of windows 10 so no data loss.
the GNOME Partition Editor will fix the issue and your data should still be intact.
