So does that mean that you have to look at some reference for every single pose you draw, and in order to draw poses sans reference you have to draw each and every pose you'll want to be using on the go over and over and over until it's hard wired into your brain?

What if it was not a dragon, but like some oversized dragonfly thing?
in fact I did draw an oversized dragonfly thing, and I the only ref I used were locust wings and they were easy to just copy over because they're basically flat and anyone could draw a flat surface at some sort of an angle
Could you do something like this using only a locust wing reference? Or in order to make it look as good as you could you'd have to go and search for images and references that would help you with the numerous spikes, the irregularly shaped feet, the strange tail fins/wings, the skull-like head, the overlapping armor plates and limb joints, all of that?

facebook claims a modest 163, but it's more probably more around 120 or so
out of those i try to hang out with as many people as possible, usually five or so in a day unless there's a party or something
on the internet, there's probably only ten or so people i'd really call friends, though steam apparently has... 320 people listed? i have no clue what's going on there, but only eighty or so are ever active so whatever
skype apparently doesn't have an actual friend counter so forget that i ain't counting all of these
and between all those there's sure to be an overlap of 20-30 people or so

Maybe it's an awkward pose that you can't seem to find on the internet or that your Japanese 3D pose software can't really replicate

if a human can do it, it can be modeled or googled

Maybe it's some creature or robot design that you came up with yourself and you wanna go all out and design every aspect and proportion

then there's no need to be "accurate" to anything so i can usually just wing it, but typically it's not hard to just look for something similar as a reference
if i wanted to draw, like, a dragon or whatever, i have a bunch of monster hunter art books to provide me with assistance in posing, for example

first couple of episodes were great, but it's kinda toned down now.

considering it's literally got the most hateable protagonist since, stuff, pretty much any harem anime, i couldn't handle much more than the first three episodes myself

Honestly, we could go on all night with quotes and red text. But in all honesty i don't want to waste my night like this.
You can keep going, but really, i have things to do. And listening to you go over the same thing over and over again is not one of those things. I'll post some of my sketches laying around tomorrow, i guess we will continue there since i expect to get nothing but stuff from this thread for the next 2 pages. Most in which will be 3 or 4 of a group agreeing on   And then saying that i was trying to seem superior.
Or something along those lines.

 This has been suggested many times. Never happens, would be a bunch of people insulting each other. RaR and Taboo mostly just being hardasses towards me. no, actually, we wouldn't even post in it, it'd just be somewhere for you go bitch and moan out of the sight of the rest of society
