Semi how I have been feeling. I’ve been so busy here and there and sometimes contribute - but now when I try to help out I don’t get responses for the motivation, one of my reasons to not invest as much time on here anymore so I’ve moved onto other games and mainly just gaming and coding practices. I do believe that this game and the forum have been the most help for the past few years until last year (when I got so busy with school and other things to worry about as an adult).

Everyone says this game will die one year later but it’s still here. Every year. Not much of advertisement has been going on like when I first joined maybe one of the reasons for the decline - but not dead.

Not sure why you guys are having a bad time with Linux a lot. I have been using it for a long time and barely has any issues for what I want. Cheap to host from a VPS too.

It's been a while,
I've been looking around and told that my autosaver has been acting up. What's wrong with it? I'll create some runs and also make fail-safes. Lua (faster autosaver) can be used for the autosaver, which is a start from right now.
Another thing I would like to discuss is also modifying the health mod for other features - I do not have the file jes00 sent because the link did not work. I will think of a smart way to add players like in a party or something - would be nice to have them all together. Open for suggestions on other mods too. I want to fix all the mods used frequently and quickly push out the update.

Yeah Linux doesn’t eat much RAM, and if you can manage to keep the RAM down even better. Randomizer only ate nearly a GB with 32 players, lots of bricks and lots of addons

Using onAdd can create problems if a lot of bricks are being planted at the same time, id rather just use the brick tool check since it’s just an admin plant check

You may use serverCmdPlantBrick(%client) and use the parent if they are an admin.

I do remember having this conversation before and it never went anywhere - it was more I was against the ""split"" and how people did not want to move on. I realized that other games do the same exact thing, playing different versions for nostalgia or other reasons - even though our community is much smaller than a lot of these games but it is not any different than their communities either. It doesn't matter at this point whether you like people playing older versions or not, and not many people play on B4v21 anyway (or more of "all the time"). I do not have an issue with the B4v21 community or this community. I was just not making solid enough points and I was wasting my own time trying to persuade everyone while being stuffted on at the same time.

The real solution here is to just make a quality enough server for people to enjoy instead of complaining like the rest of us - because you cannot make a good server if you are too busy complaining how stuff everything else is. Let people enjoy what they want to do or make your own server. We have enough of these topics and they are never going to get anywhere - spend some time somewhere else than creating pointless argument topics such as creating a server where people would be interested in and a server that doesn't exist (even ask people what they may be interested in and see if you would be interested enough to make it of course).

Far as I have seen there are too many MERPs/roleplays hosted when I look at the server list, but everyone has their own taste. To me it just looks a bit bad because it's like no one has anything else better to do than hosting something too simple - one or maybe 2 MERPs are okay. I would not mind if MERPs actually went somewhere (like turning them into like a conquer conquest/missions) or roleplays actually doing something - like the old murderer mystery. I do not mind the freebuilds but they always have been around. I think I am going to release some gamemodes when I get back from vacation like quickly revising Fort Wars where it had its own mechanics to stop making dumb rules for people to follow. I've always disliked servers that make stupid rules to work around the problems of the gamemode *cough* cityrpg *cough* and it makes the admins have to enforce these rules because the host does not want to fix them. I like the admins to have less stress by focusing on how players are behaving than them finding exploits and abusing them while the issues never get fixed.

I still don't know what my job should be, currently my job is being a YouTuber.
You can base it off of your experience or hobbies. Mine was based on something I'd have interest which started out as a part time merchandiser, left job then got a full time job with better pay but very long hours including overtime. What things do you like to do or don't mind doing? Or what hobbies do you have?

If anyone is interested to read, I have been through a lot in this academic year I was shredded. So I got a job in January and currently employed. In May (day after birthday) I got a promotion offer which increased my wage to become a manager. I accepted it, so I do want to thank the community for participating in my servers, constructed criticism, dos and don'ts, and communication. This has increased my learning curve when I worked for a job a year ago. I am now one of the managers for the dining services at my university and didn't take long to move up!
