Help / Re: Blockland.exe has stopped working
« on: July 11, 2016, 01:45:19 PM »
Nonono, I found the source, it's not Add-Ons, its the Plays.tv, a streaming program, after i shut it down with Task manager, it worked, Nevermind, but thanks.

You might want to uninstall that program since it will start up every time you boot your computer. Otherwise, go to your AMD Gaming client and turn off Plays.tv

I've made a little thing to help with this: https://jscalc.io/calc/xmWBdTUBnwQUeoFo
Just have to type in the size and copy paste the coordinates.

That's pretty neat! Thanks.

Do you know if you could make an additional grill like this? Other than that, amazing mod!

Sorry, missed this post. Yeah I plan on adding few more grills.

Yeah, that formula really helped and saved me a lot of manual work, well calculating the formula for each faces is still some manual work. Now to update the rest of the bricks.

You just need to calculate 4 values per face to get them to look exactly like default. A script would make it much faster, but it's not required.

I used your formula in the other topic and here's the result:

That's still wrong though... you're not doing these manually when we have figured out the exact formula long ago, right?

Someone could probably create a small blender script to automatically apply these to a few faces.

I'm following LeetLegacy's instructions in his brickmaking tutorial, and yeah I'm doing it manually. I don't write scripts for Blender, maybe port could?

Do you have AMD Gaming Evolved client? Check if you have PLAYS.TV installed on your computer. Blockland doesn't like it when that program is running in the background.

I just discovered why this is happening and I will work on updating all of the bricks to have correct UV mapping, stay tuned!

Who doesn't love the grill plates? I wasn't satisfied with what we had so I created extra pieces and gap fillers so they can blend in.
NOTE: Coloring is a bit tricky, FIRST color the special corners BEFORE you place the gap filler on top of it.

Modification Help / Re: Bricks showing up as blue in /doIcon preview?
« on: July 05, 2016, 07:08:58 PM »
wow forget
I missed a parenthesis

echo($iconBrick.getColorId() SPC getColorIdTable($iconBrick.getColorId()));

That worked and I got this:

if you use the default colorset this will work fine. my guess is it just uses a fixed color id when it generates the brick - from my experience this seems to be the case, but i never bothered to check. Usually i just black-and-white the image in my image editor afterwards if the color is not too extremely off, or just manually color it white and realign the camera.

I think I tried using default colorset and got the same result, I could double check again. Worked with default colorset. That's weird I've used other colorset and never had this problem before.

and what does the console say when you do
echo($iconBrick.getColorId() SPC getColorIdTable($iconBrick.getColorId());

Are you certain that command is correct?

You might be experience the same issue as me in this other topic, do you have AMD Gaming Evolved client?

Not sure if this belongs in the right board or other Help.

When doing /iconinit and /doicon the bricks show up as blue instead of default gray, any idea why this is happening? That's the first time I've seen it happen.
