It seems that every video game will have that one extremely overpowered character. Like Star Fox from Smash Bros Melee, or Link from Soul Caliber II. But somehow, a sports game from the 80s managed to contain an extremely overpowered player, making the game unfair for everyone else.
The player's name is Bo Jackson. He is a running back for the Los Angeles Raiders. I played a whole season on Tecmo Bowl as the Raiders. My literal strategy was, "Give the ball to Bo, and run." and I won... every single game of the season. This is very good evidence that he can't be stopped in this game.
But see, it doesn't end there. He's even worse in the sequel, Tecmo Super Bowl.
So yeah, if you ever sign up for a Tecmo Bowl tournament or anything, make sure to select the Los Angeles Raiders. You will have a way better chance of winning.... because you have the most OP player ever.
