Off Topic / My desktop's wifi driver is garbage

Literally every loving device in my house can connect to our wifi with no issue.
But recently I moved my bedroom upstairs and there's no ethernet line to the basement, so I have to rely on this garbage wifi driver in my tower.
The only thing closest to a wired connection I can get is an old dial up plug across the room.
pls help
Also, again, it's not the router. When I tried mobile hotspot on my phone which is right next to it I still had issues.
I don't know if this will help but a sticker on the side says, "Integrated LAN 10/100/1000"

I have been playing a lot of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and I thought that it would be cool to have a hammer item that triggers certain events based on it's rank, since in game you can only break certain rocks until you get a hammer upgrade.
Ranks in order from Normal, Super, and Ultra
I was thinking it could work kind of like the colored keycard addon.
