Good saying to live by. Bad people get what's coming to them eventually. There was this guy in highschool who'd always try to pick on me and start drama, I'd usually just ignore him. We got into it once and I found out he always talked stuff behind my back. He reached out to me last year on Facebook trying to apologize, told me that he was homeless for the longest and now lives in assisted living in the super ghetto part of Minneapolis, no job or car or anything. Parents kicked him to the curb with no support. I didn't reply to him and I was honestly happy when I found that out, dude was always a prick.

I agree, do you agree with banning people from the game for a long time for being obnoxious? IMO if someone is being mean just leave it up to the person reading the words what to do about it, such as muting. I think bans are just if someone is threatening other players, but just calling someone a tard or a homo isn't doing much other than maybe hurting some ones feelings until they just mute you 5 seconds later lol. Which is stupid imo, what's the point of the mute feature then? On counter-strike users who get reported just get muted automatically when they join the server and you have to manually unmute them. They don't get barred from playing the game for a ridiculous amount of time, unlike some games I know.

For example, I received a ban from League of Legends for a month for calling someone a cigarette. I don't think the punishment fits the crime here, but you might disagree which is fine. I'm just sick of this pussified generation of over-moderation on video games.

As for the actual OP that price is way too steep lol. Brickadia is neat, but not 30 dollars neat. 15 or 20 like Blockland is more appropriate.

I was a hopeless romantic in my teens, had a string of short flings with a bunch of people, now I'm more comfortable with the idea of never doing the whole "relationship" thing.

Maybe you just haven't met someone truly worth your while yet? I think everyone experiments and explores people in their younger years for the most part.

I was using the Facebook Dating app for a while, that lets you see who likes you for free. This has some drawbacks though, as I've seen likes coming from meme levels of disgusting people. There's no weird "algorithm" like other apps use, so you should receive likes fairly often if you decide to try and get out there for something genuine.

Not much of an L (for better, or worse). Kiwifarms eventually just switched to a different host and it's now back online on it's .net domain

No stuff OP? I worked for a company that printed circuit boards, most went to military/fell under ITAR. The usual suspects were Northrop, Honeywell, Raytheon, L3... couldn't tell you what the boards went into though. We had an AOI department as well. Ours did essentially the same thing as yours, except it inspected the layers themselves. Layers referring to the board, boards usually had two layers but some like our Honeywell boards had more. Never used that machine.

Most fun machine I've used was a laser routing machine at the same company. Routed holes/cut shapes into boards using a high class laser. Was cool to see the laser dancing around the board super fast. It'd usually take like 15 minutes for a board to get routed out, so you got to lean back and sit on your phone while you waited on the machine. Job had stuff pay and horrible micromanagement though, supervisor was a rooster lick.

like i said in the other thread kiwifarms was fun for more obscure people but otherwise was kind of a waste of time. there were already quite a few lolcow type websites up for years before it got taken down though. rDrama.net is the one i check every few months. plus a stuff ton of subreddits dedicated for a specific person. this culture is never gonna die, people like gossip too much.

Exactly, shutting down the website does nothing as the site didn't really do anything wrong. People gossip and document people on every social media platform.

You can tell in this topic it's just a witch hunt. I asked for more proof so what happens? Unova2 searches my name on the Brickadia server as a witch hunt. I make a topic about people witch hunting, and Kanye uses my photo as their avatar.

It's pretty obvious IMO that this is a "Question our verdict and you will be next". IMO it makes the stuff posted by them way less reliable. I know it might not really be a "them" but there is some dumbass groupthink going on.

I'm not sure if the Port accusation carries weight, but a couple other devs were outed for the same thing at some point and have since left the dev team. CBA to find the thread but should be an easy find

The thread about this debacle was the most active thread we've seen in like a month or two though. Site censorship and the morality backing it is an interesting topic to discuss I think

Yeah, a lot of the devs were kicked out for it. I'm not stuffting on Brickadia? I like the game, haven't played it in a while but it's a cool foundation for something more.

Read the thread, but a brief summary would be that a lot of devs were found to be posting pretty questionable research on their Twitters and stuff, some involving children/minors. Not real stuff, just drawings.

Regardless if Kiwi comes back or not, I don't think shutting down the site was really appropriate.

Shut down Kiwi and meanwhile sites like Motherless still exist, which is literally just people jerking off to teenagers and has a history of posting literal crimes like rape
