Help / Team Bots don't spawn in Slayer

I'm trying to make a top-down campaign with three other friendly bots while killing zombies, but friendly fire from my bots stops that in its tracks. I downloaded slayer after discovering that it was compatible with bots so that I could keep them from friendly-firing me, but when I create a slayer minigame, they don't even spawn. Remember, these are the Team Bot Holes that you can download specifically for slayer. I could enable the wrench during a minigame and spawn them during it, but they don't act in accord with the minigame, as if slayer just completely overlooks them. They act like regular hole bots and friendly fire doesn't change. The only thing I noticed is that an enemy bot will only attack me if I touch it. Can someone please tell me how to incorporate bots into slayer?
Uh...please? I thought this problem would be more abundant here, but I couldn't find a help topic on it.
Also, can someone explain the path nodes?

I don't know if it's impossible or not, but is there a way to disable friendly fire from a bot that I've pro-...uh,
"Event'ed" to be friendly? I've got everything set up for  a top down Zombies Ate my Neighbors style map, but just when it starts to get fun, a friendly bot, who I've "Event'ed"to follow me but at the same keep its distance through use of the power off, power on event, it kills me nearly every time with whatever weapon i chose to give whether it be an mp5 or one of the new dueling pack swords. If someone could uh..make an add-on that counter acts this or show me how to disable it via its actual texts, it would be very helpful to guys like me that just like to stick around with his bot buddies...yes. His backstabbing, friendly-firing, personal-space-ignorant, bot buddies.

Also, can I stop their velocity from being relative to their spawn point? That's very irritating and stops me from making alot of watch-and-be-amazed maps. I know of the relative velocity event, and even tried to merge it with the bots code. I got as far as making it appear on the events interface when targeting a bot, but it doesn't work. It won't even move. I'm thinking it's impossible though. For instance, i remember the push broom actually pushing things back, yet when I use it on a bot, it simply propels it into the air. Even with other add-on's that are supposed to push players back, it either gets propelled into the air or doesn't move at all. Can someone please tell me how to make these things have relative velocity!? I could use the relative velocity event with Amade's bots, but not with these hole-bots. Why? I'll keep looking through their code, but I'm putting this up just in case anyone feels like helping out or doing something to fend off boredom.

Please make your explanations simple, as I am NOT a programmer or a Java expert. Yeah, I took a class on Java, but the most complicated thing I made was a game of rock, paper, scissors. After that, I got nothing.

Suggestions & Requests / Bot/Hole bot events

Both mods have things that make them awesome and unique, but when I need both to complete a story or a fps campaign (something people don't do NEARLY enough with this game) i can't just switch and keep everything. Sure bot events is more specific and stuff but when bots start attacking, they forget ANY movement you've commanded them to do! The reason being that marking the boolean true for 'BotAttackTeam" (or something) already marks out their movement and defies any movement you assign them to do.
What makes bot events better than hole bots is it's flexibility, which enables the bots to be used with any event other than the ones assigned by the creator. There are also the combat specific events like Onbotkill-victim,OnbotKilled - killer, and OnbotDamage - victim. There's even a corpse event! All of that is missing from bot holes and it's difficult to do anything cool and unique without them.

What makes bot holes better is the fact that bots are WAY smarter when attacking. They can open doors, windows, and will strafe away from bullets while shooting with improved accuracy. It's extremely fun on its own and I can even get a bot to follow me without stopping to attack an enemy without returning. The variety for the team events are also fun and simple to fiddle around with. (not saying bot events isn't simple, cause it is) The problem with it is that I can't apply other events to hole bots other than the ones programmed (or whatever) with it. That really saps the fun a little and I'd be extremely happy if that could be brought back. And  I ASSURE you that many others would be happy too. For instance, i can't get a bot to play a sound or detect another bots physical contact, or use the relative velocity event and etc! It could be SO much better although it's already good! Perhaps a combination could help? Or add-on events like the new damage and edit Apperance events? I'm no programmer and only half-arsed a beginners java class two years ago in highschool. I've no idea how difficult it is, but if the two creators could talk a bit and combine their events, it would be awesome for everyone. Or not. I dunno. Doing that may make it crash servers or something. Just a hunch I got. But they're freakin' geniuses. They can work around it!  >: )

So yeah. That's my request. The suggestion & request description said I'd get nothing for this, but why not try?

Oh yeah, just a warning: I'm extremely stupid. I don't understand program specific talk or terms used by the awesome geeks around here. I've been playing the game since 2006, but I don't study it. I just play it. I paid 25 bucks for it, so i try to have fun with it. For my family, that isn't pocket change. That's, "You better play it or I'll whip you skinless!" money.

Help / Blocklan LAUNCHER will not work

I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling it, reinstalling it, but it doesn't change a thing. I looked up the cause and have two ideas.
"voodoo 2 display device not detected" on the launcher text file.....the hell is that?
Windows told me it's an appcrash. What should I do? I remember changing the resolution during a game and it crashed. I started up again and changed the resolution on the main menu. Before I could get to the add-ons screen, Blockland.exe crashed AGAIN. After that, Blockland Launcher stopped working forever. It won't even show the loading screen in the launcher. Just black and thats it. It really pisses me off since this computer is cool and I can't play it anywhere else without lag city.  I just got done with a brilliant success save in a tf2 map. I know I still have the save, but it's too big on bots to work anywhere else. Please, help me. I'm gonna try restarting my computer now.

Help / Shader only goes low

I'm a simple minded guy, and I know people have been talking about shaders FOREVER but my problem is starting to seriously get to me. I play tf2 in a higher resolution than blockland and a it only lags alot when there are special effects all around me. (Medics) I have two questions: why does blockland only allow me to run my shaders on low with higher choices faded out and un-selectable and why does blockland lag when I put my shaders on low when there isn't anything on the map? I don't even get shadows. I get shinier  objects and floors. Thats it. Why does tf2 lag less? Blockland just has blocks and it lags more! that really pisses me off. That's like having an amoeba knock out mike tyson. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon. Got this laptop in 2008. Can someone that doesn't speak code help me out? Please?

Please don't say anything about macs. I don't have one. If my graphics card can't handle it, please just say that. A simple diction always benefits everyone. There's nothing it can't explain. Talk to me like i'm 1 if you like. I don't even care.

General Discussion / V21 may have killed my blockland

            This is the first topic I've ever posted. I purchased BL in 2005. Never had a problem with it. Then suddenly, it stops working. I try to run it via the launcher, the launcher does its thing, Blockland exe. pops up, then a window pops up saying, "Blockland.exe has stopped working." I deleted blockland, reinstalled it, and I get the same mutherf-...excuse me. I get the same problem. I can't play Blockland no matter WHAT I do. It just so happens that v21 has come out. Coincidence? I think not, cause I was playing it just seven days ago. I know, nobody cares. I'm just another statistic right? Someone's gonna make a smug comment saying this in is wrong for some reason non-programmers like me don't understand. All I want to know, is rather or not I should just uninstall Blockland or if not that, if there's a way I can fix it. If anyone out there is caring enough to help out this little guy, please do so. I've been playing this for years. I just want it to work again. If Badspot sees this, I'd like to ask if this problem should even exist. I've heard he's a mean guy, but I hate rumors and gossip, so I don't believe them.

Help / Zombies won't stop respawning!!!!!

I know that zombies are supposed to spawn when they die, but it gets pretty annoying when my team kills a tank in a narrow halway and he keeps respawning. How do you make it so that the zombies don't respawn when you kill them in a minigame, but when you end it, they don't disappear forever? I'm doing a small experimental build before i start the real deal as a test, but if i don't fix this problemo, i'll never be able to build it! Seems noones even came across this problem and posted it.(Aside from the fact that i've gotten pissed off from looking for it in a sea of complaints and help topics.) If you know how to fix this, by all means, do it. If you know a topic thats like mine, by all means POST IT.

I sat in a map i made for 30 minutes yet no one joined. But considering the name of the map was Blockland  server. Probably didn't look very cool. And i didn't change my security ports.
