Save Player Scale.

Why?

I've been noticing that all Roleplay servers, that have the changing scale function, don't actually save it. Each time you spawn, you have to manually set your scale again. This sucks, especially with Player Persistence.
How does it work?

When a player disconnects, his scale is saved in an automatically created txt file in config/server/playerscales/blid.txt. When a player spawns, it read the scale from txt file(if there's any). If a player dies, the txt file gets deleted and he respawns with standart scale.
If you disconnect while being dead, it will not save your scale.

Suggestions & Requests / Handcuffs addon that doesnt suck

I am not satisfied with the current handcuffs addon. You can spam it, dropping anything while cuffed will "drop" the cuffs(you will still be cuffed but others will not be able to uncuff), and etc. It'd be great if cuffing would take time(as in, you click someone and they are unable to move while you spam them to cuff)

So I recently had the issue of blockland controls binds being removed after relaunching bl. It was very annoying issue that I did not know how to deal with.

As for me, the reason that was causing this is... default language! I have "Russian" set as default language in Windows and that causes most blockland controls to be removed, because Blockland doesnt support Russian.

The issue might be the same for you! If your language isnt supported by the engine, your first and only step is to change the default language to supportable one(for example, English). Don't worry, you will still be able to change languages by hotkey combination, however, the controls issue will be fixed.

Ever thought how trench wars were either unbalanced or not realistic or just not worthy to play on? With the help of many, I have decided that it is my destiny to create something that is both balanced, somewhat realistic and is interesting to play on! WELCOME TO THE WAR, KID!

Trench wars.

Blockland 1941 was originally a little thing I was reworking. Some of you might remember the Trench Wars I was hosting. They weren't bad but there was definitely something to improve, and by that I mean that everything could be improved, and this is why this topic exists!
The plan:
Overall progress = 80%
Map progress = DONE!
Weapon models = DONE!
Scripting = IN PROGRESS!

Decided to join Id3s0ac's server, asked for admin and so I got it because I was his friend and then this happened:

I highly recommend to ban this person from your servers, I am not sure if he truly has the BLHack, but my experience with him wasn't pleasant.
P.S. BL_ID lookup says that he's Luxem... is that name familiar?

Medieval tournament.

After such a long time, me and my friends finally got some time to build a map for what I wanted to host. Medieval tournament!

What's this?

Medieval tournament is some sort of a competitive minigame, where people will be able to do 1v1 duels. They can choose any weapon(and armor if their opponent agrees) to use. The winner will get a prize(probably, I am not sure about that yet)

How do I take part in this?

i could compare them to many other people like grimlock and torin but nix is more wellknown for being annoying

General Discussion / Wanted to host a tournament, not sure what to host.

Hey guys, I was recently thinking about hosting something big, maybe some sort of tournament. I don't think I'd need help with map(even though I'm an awful builder), all what I really need is your opinions. I can either host a medieval fight tournament(a medieval arena with jack noir's weapons and either 1v1 or 2v2 rounds), rising lava(push everyone in lava that is rising) or both combined(basically the same as rising lava but instead of pushbrooms we have swords). Which one do you think will be interesting the most?

inspired by medieval rp, i was modeling this stuff for 2 hours till jack noir came and made it look forgetton nicer in 5-10 min, coding this took way longer time since i don't really have coding knowledge

  features:
   - max distance is 200 studs
   - it can play 5 different bad quality sounds
   - model is so good it is piercing my hand
   - it happened to be the first add-on i ever made

Help / "Server could not verify your blockland ID"

Recently I was able to play blockland, then I decided to close the game and continue playing in 1 hour. I launched it again, tried to connect to some server and this message pops up. I tried restarting steam/blockland/computer, but nothing seem to work. What to do?

So yeah, this stuff is happening, they blocked some IP which contains some sites including blockland.us, I tried calling them but they didn't do anything, pls help?
