I'm looking for used too because 0km cars here are ridiculously expensive. I was looking at the VW Polo and Gol. I really want a diesel so that limits what I can buy.

Never owned or used one. However, I'd go for the Gol, Clio, or Up if you have those choices available.

I've a lada laika. That stuff was indestructible. It's everything was tought. The steering, the clutch, the shift, even opening the hood required russian strength. Perfect starter vehicle if you ask me.
