It's english.

Pottery vessels can melt copper, tin, zinc, gold, silver, bismuth, and any kind of bronze.

You can, with some maths, make bronze alloys in a ceramic vessel.

The crucible can melt any kind of ore except for iron ore and you can use it to make large amounts of alloys and it tells you the proportions in which the metals are.

The bloomery is only for iron ore.

Bloomery for iron ore and blast furnace to obtain steel.
