this is for autohotkey's installer, a piece of software broadly considered to be trustworthy:

it is sometimes used for nefarious purposes, and so it gets some bad ratings
here's b4v21, which dozens of you have been using for years without a single complaint:
I havent had any complaints until now, but if they are from the same person, this may go deeper than we think. We may havea been compromised for a long time. Isnt it funny how b4v21 isnt open source? Isnt it... suspicious?

a bunch of teenage idiots on a discord server don't know a virus from their left ass cheek. you look at a virustotal page and start going off the rails
You have a point, but isnt it odd how the mods banned my friend? Why would they ban them if he had no bearing?

like battlebit.
mmhmm. Come back for kenko damage control and now you talk of battlebit. You need to leave. The blockland deep state is getting to your heard. Escape before its too late.

"11% of vendors deemed this program suspicious purely heuristically and not a single sandbox could actually confirm any of those suspicions." Boys, we may have been bamboozled.
unfortunately, publicly handing out the source code of something you normally have to pay for would be "copyright infringement" which is "illegal"

I have a friend who just got banned on the discord after they tried to tell others. Everyone agreed that it was a virus, but then the moderators silenced them and stopped them from seeing the truth.

From the responses, Its well known, but people have invested too much to stop at this point.

Its not like kenko can release the code on archive.org or odysee.com or heck, even torrent it, and then let others create their own repos on gitlab or other less restrictive platforms than github. Anonymously, a "leak" that isnt tied to any specific individual.

But hey, that wouldnt give them back door access or the lamplight they cant stop basking in. Time will tell, since people are onto them they will likely remove the trojan, I believe me and my friend have done our parts.

They say primates go in trees. Ive never seen any monkey go in a tree. Geese go in trees. Geese have two legs. Did we really evolve from geese?

ran blockland and patched blockland, all show no viruses. Run blockland rebuilt and it shows the same. Boys, we may have been bamboozled.

Run a patched blockland.exe (shaders and maybe environmental zones?) and see if it has the same results. Pls, for science.

That bitdefender is a false positive. Idk about the rest though. Knowing the BL community. And kenkos paranoia of open sourcing it, It likely is a trojan.

Who cares though? Its blockland! Run it in a isolated. VM if you are scared.

brickadia's success will be dictated by if non blocklanders end up playing it, the game will have that initial starting community from some BL migrants but the question is if new players join from tiktok or whatever. i dont think anyone who has never played BL before is playing on B4v21 or LoD

i dont think people will hear about or care about the creep stuff but we will see what happens

Brickadia's success is over, done, and no more. No one plays it, and no one cares. It won't suddenly sprout wings. It appeals to original players and wannabe Roblox players, but they don't stay because Brickadia lacks modding.

IF, and it's a big IF, they add modding at some future date, they may have a chance of maintaining their existing community, but I doubt it.

What the duck?!?! B4v21/Blockland Rebuilt is PURELY for Blockland players; it's more like a migration from Blockland, if anything. There aren't a whole lot of new names in Blockland, and there are very, very few new names in Blockland Rebuilt. It's mainly comprised of the usual suspects or Blocklanders who have just heard of the new, better, game.

I can't speak for LoD since I haven't played it recently, but it was announced on these forums, and most of the active community seems to be Blockland players.

So what makes everyone think this is safe to run?

Its ran by long time members of the community. They didnt hack us with b4v21, dont know why they would hack us with this. If it brings you any peace, I ran it through a dozen antivirus programs and all is well. But because theyre so defensive about making it open source, it could very well have anything in it. In the very least, they may be mishandling collected data that could be leaked.

If youre so scared, hook it to a completely fresh blockland/steam account in a virtual machine with a good vpn.

Games / Re: does anyone here use DPI cycling while in-game

I change dpi when necessary. Rarely, but necessary. There is no advantage to over moving the slider on your mouse driver or windows sensitivity or game setting for how rarely I use it, but its okay I guess.

Funny you bring up food drives, they upped my pay (oooh like 10 bucks more per pay!) And now I can't use any of the local food drives,
Most third party or church food drives dont ask any personal info, just your name, at least where im at.

I get it.  Not much you can do about it though.

I'm not sure why working 60+ hours a week in order to save money is normalized in the USA, these conditions are considered bullstuff everywhere else in the world lol
Not everywhere else though, only small pockets of europe. There are some places of europe that are just as bad, if not worse, and most of the world (china, india, most of Asia, africa) work/pay conditions are much much worse for most jobs. Obviously specialists in these places have better work conditions but they do in the US too.

yeah loans you can’t budget enough to pay is killer. gl getting out of debt and never get back in it.

you can usually still cook decent meals way cheaper than eating out, though it takes more work planning it out to overlap ingredient usage to keep a variety of meals.

The blockhead who got a car they couldn't afford goofed, always buy used, but what's wrong with loans? My parents got em, my parents parents (now dead) had em, I'll have em. Its just the way it is. Education you can balance, but education and a house? Were all ducked unless we live with our parents, in which case housing isn't a problem.

Food isn't a problem unless you eat out. If your super remote you better have livestock/garden. If youre urban there are food drives and hand outs. Its not that complicated, at least where I am there's plenty of free food to save your money.

Also lmao, I don't remember the last time I saw a savings account. None of my friends or relatives have savings that grow. Its always they stock it up, emergency empties it, stock it up, emergency, etc

Also you can afford to eat out more than once a month? Look at fancy money bags over here. I probably could afford eating out though if ammo wasn't so expensive. Time to pick up reloading. Priorities...

TLDR, economy isn't THAT bad. I mean its bad but don't die early because of it.

Someone should repackage vanilla Blockland as "Blockland Unbuilt" and people will play it just for the hype.
"At least it has an active developer!"

oh crap. thats whats happening isnt it? RIP.

anywho, any update on dranland? It was fun while it lasted, but I havent heard any news.
