Help / Non-Steam Blockland doesn't respond when joining a game or hosting a server

I don't recall when I've had this issue, but here is the story.

Maybe a week ago or two I'm starting to experience my Blockland launcher taking a lot more than just a bunch of seconds (like, a few minutes, takes like 5 minutes or so. this does not usually happen.) It does the same thing when it tries to launch the Blockland.exe. So when that is launched I join a normal popular server and when I try to load datablocks or downloading file manifest or anything like that, the program doesn't respond for a while and I get the message. I started to say Close the Program and then clicked Cancel, and I got a weird message on the top left that says Blockland is not responding, with the button End Process. I clicked it a few times and Blockland closes on me.

Another weird thing that happened is when days ago when I started hosting my WIP when i just spawn, a split second it literally just crashes and instantly gives me the Blockland is not Responding message, not giving me the choice to Wait for the program to respond.

Is there anyone else that has this problem or is it just me?

I will post the console log later as I'm about to try again.

it can be an event, a person, your job, anything etc

just refrain from talking about Blockland or any players in it, that can go to drama

i'll include mine:

this is probably late but if anyone has seen or played Lego Universe that was the best stuff i liked until it shut down for me. i was sad to see it go, and so they released lego minifigures (which i didn't play or know about to this day). and i've heard they are shutting it down again. to be honest, i almost feel like they will do this for every other MMO game that LEGO will release in the future, because the only reason is they aren't making enough money. i mean say if you loved a game so much you wanted to buy it, and months later it just gets shut down for you. i have a feeling that in some way that's just loving ripping people off, just leave the game and if it isn't making enough money at least wait enough to make such a decision like that.

Off Topic / discord instantly restarts when i type the @ symbol

/title, i'm having a issue with discord when i started up this morning, and every time i'm trying to mention somebody, when i type the @ symbol, discord just closes and instantly restarts in a split second.

can anyone help me with this, or can anyone relate by having the same problem?

Off Topic / confused about my current rig, don't know if i should upgrade or keep it as is

i'm confused right now. since last friday i finally got my GTX 960 thanks to my dad. however, i forgot how long it has been, but i also have an AMD processor (AMD A8-6600k), and it's pretty loving old. before i got the GTX 960, i had an AMD Radeon 7770 -which is 3 years old- of course, i had no crashing problems or anything like that except i couldn't run games smoothly. i've had a bsod while having my gtx 960 but it was because the heat sink attached to my amd processor was dusty.

the main issue though is that i've done a lot of research on a comparison between intel cpus and amd cpus, and what happens if an amd cpu and an nvidia gpu mix together after i've been told by a friend that my computer will forget up if i add the two together. so far since 5 days i barely had any problems with it after testing a few big games with it: far cry 3 runs smoothly, rainbow six siege gives me a few freezing points and frame rate drops at the start but after playing on the same map it seems smooth also. but i've heard that i'm basically 'bottlenecking' my computer and i should replace my AMD processor to an intel if i can.

dad has been a bit irritated about me mentioning a new processor in front of him and keeps asking me why i need one if it's necessary, because he looked at me playing a game smoothly and he thought it was alright. however, dad has been thinking about getting a new processor for me, but not today or tomorrow (which im not complaining). if his reason was because of a money issue, i would understand and i would be patient about it. but he's making a completely different reason as to why i should have a new processor if i'm running games ok.

here is my rig in case if you people ask for it:



i don't know what to do honestly, do i just keep up with the current rig i have right now or do i upgrade a new processor before bad things happen? i'm probably overthinking about it and i'm worried about it also. if i do need to upgrade though maybe i should just make my own money instead of talking to dad about it.

so while i was hanging in panquake's server this guy named "do you like to forget bee" joined and was playing normally, until he did this very malicious stuff which he flooded garbage faster as if he was hacked or something:

watch out for this person when you see him on your server, he could probably do the same.

i'm probably very loving late about this but i just explored about diep.io. it's basically agar.io but you can shoot objects, and instead of being a cell eating others the objective is to shoot ppl and objects to lvl up

/title, the chillest part about my school is my 6th period, the computer class. everyone is usually silent or low talking and no arguing has been going on with the computer teacher. it feels pretty nice hanging out in there without anything to do (finished a virtual class there)

Drama / boner (219293) - possible alt, loving up server

boner is possibly back at it again, and whilst being at Clay Hanson's Semi-Anonymous Grapple Knife TDM server, boner was screwing around and giving accessability to admin. (the blank spots were because of the anonymous add-on still being activated, along with the id.)

so this is how it first started:

so i was hanging out as an admin at clay hanson's server till i saw boner join and get accessibility to admin:



to prove that he was actually admin this was his status along with the blid:



he was then perma'd by clay hanson



he connected again and recieved admin again:



he was then kicked and perma'd by clay hanson again:



this time when rejoining he got (Auto) admin:



later on while he wasn't banned because clay hanson's bl was being forgeted up, he got manual super admin:



he started tweaking and loving with the server name and password




at first, i didn't believe this when boner was joined at the start, but he started deadmining me (don't have pics for this one) and clay hanson:



and so he then started kicking me



this is how it went while the server was loving up in the PMs:




at this point he and i were possibly sure it wasn't boner:



i honestly don't know what to loving believe, i'm very concerned. is this the real boner or not?

Off Topic / any recommendations for new earbuds?

/title, my harman/kardon earbuds just died (the issue is likely that the wires are forgeted for pulling accidentally too much), and i'm thinking about getting the same brand again, but i wonder if there's a newer and better brand you guys like to suggest.
