Damn, this makes me sad. Ghost was one of the most legendary players, and provided content that gave BL players probably 10,000+ hours of fun combined.

Bonalbo Bumpf is bery billy! Bebe he is beeping bebberybubby inbibe! Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. 4 Rules of Verbatim Transcription

Verbatim transcription is the art of converting spoken word into text such that a message is captured exactly the way it has been spoken.

This requires a keen ear and attention to detail. Verbatim transcripts cannot be created  by mindlessly listening and typing. One has to pay close attention to every sound, tone, word and make intelligent use of punctuation to convey the correct message.


 
For example:

Female:   We received a lot of support from…uh from community services- [baby starts crying].
Interviewer:   Oh, do you want to take a short break?
Female:   No that’s okay, I just need to turn her over [talks to the baby, 60s]. So I was saying…uhm…we got a lot of support in my first few weeks back from the hospital.

In this example, the transcript includes words as well as other details like background sounds, details of the mother talking to her baby, and fillers.

That’s the meaning of verbatim transcription – it means capturing not just what was said on the recording but also how it was said and in what circumstances.

Types of Verbatim Transcription
While the true meaning of verbatim remains transcribing exactly what’s happening on a recording, variations have developed over time to suit different needs.

There are mainly 3 types of verbatim transcription:

Intelligent Verbatim
Verbatim
True Verbatim
Each style has it’s own benefits and meets a different need. Let’s take a look at each in detail.


 
1. Intelligent Verbatim
Intelligent Verbatim transcription (a.k.a. clean read or clean verbatim) involves transcription with detailed editing and sometimes minor paraphrasing to create an easy-to-read transcript.

This style is ideal for those who need error-free, ready-to-print transcripts, and is therefore the preferred transcription style for business recordings.

What’s included: Everything that is said on the recording with minor paraphrasing (if needed).

What’s not: Grammatical errors, fillers (ums, uhs, you knows, etc.), stutters (In- In- In- In fact), false starts (incomplete sentences), repetitions, non-verbal communication, and ambient sounds.

2. Verbatim
Verbatim is one degree more detailed than intelligent verbatim transcription.

In this style, every word on the recording is transcribed as is, including grammatical errors and false starts. However, extra details like stutters and repetitions are removed.

Personally I like Bejeweled Twist! I have kept a journal of my thoughts on it:

After the success of Bejeweled and Bejeweled 2, they released Bejeweled Twist in 2008. Basically, it is the same game as Bejeweled and Bejeweled 2, in that you match colored jewels on the board to remove them.
The 'Twist' in the game comes from the fact that movement comes from rotating 4 gems to make your matches. As you match gems, a power bar on the side increases, thus granting higher points and bonuses for more successive matches, and if you do not match consecutively, the power is reset along with your bonus.

You can also create 'special' gems, like in the original games for matching more than 3 gems at a time.

During the game, once you've past the 1st level, under the power bar is a row of gems that if you match in a particular sequence, your power and bonus is increased at a greater sequence, and if you can get it to x10, you have the opportunity to create a 'Mega' or Fruit Gem. These fruit gems when matched give massive points, as well as remove all other gems of the same color, however, missing a match in sequence, cancels the opportunity to create the fruit gems, and you have to rebuild your bonus again.

There is also the added feature of in the classic game of timed bombs, that count down each time you turn without making a match. If the bomb reaches 0, you are given a opportunity to 'defuse' the bomb by spinning a wheel, and as long as the wheel doesn't land on the bomb symbol, you can continue, however, with each succeeding bomb reaching 0, another bomb space is added to the wheel, increasing the difficulty.

Besides the classic game, there is a 'Zen' mode, that plays with no bombs, and is just for matching as long as you want to play. 'Blitz' mode is just like the 'Classic' game, except that you only have 5 min for each game.

They have also included 'Challenges'. This is a mode where you complete goals, such as creating certain 'special' gems, matching a particular color, matching so many in a row, and such as that.

Graphically, the game looks good with vibrant colors, and interesting fades and transitions between levels.

I have spent many hours with this game, and find it a good diversion from the usual fare of action/shooter games that I normally play.

Games can last anywhere from a few min to an hour or more depending upon how good and how many matches you can find. Normally my games last approx about 30 min each time.

In short, Bejeweled Twist is a fun way to kill some time, and a good addition to the Bejeweled collection.

i don't wanna cause a storm of hate, but i think it was a really rude move to flame a user for posting their own original server. i think we should all work to be as kind as possible! if someone angers you, ignore them---don't engage them in arguments.

station 3 has been shut down and folded into a new settlement... STATION 5! an even MORE MASSIVE and INTRICATE cyberpunk city!!!
