After overclocking, there isn't much of a performance difference for gaming.
The only other option I can think of is having them be print bricks. Have prints of a solid color (skin colors) that when applied would cover the hands and head of the blockhead. If someone wanted to change the skin tone they would simply pull out their printer.that's... a very interesting idea. ill see what I can do
BREAKING: PALESTINE SHEKEL BOMBS THE MOONhaha
What is Cities: Skylines? Some sort of Sim City?yeah. more emphasis on handling traffic rather than in-depth city simulation though.
The HTC Vibe will cost almost $1500AU, not including postage, after taxes and currency exchange. I also imagine that shipping will ramp the price right up, and that orders will take 2+ weeks to ship (whereas Oculus units arrive within days).the final vive isn't exactly made to be a dedicated developer kit - that was the purpose of the vive DK1 and the vive pre. the final vive is a dedicated consumer version and is meant to have "gimmicky toys" come with it (wait, what exactly are you referencing to?).
This is a major problem. HTC/Valve should be encouraging developers to jump on-board with lower priced, stock kits, but they'd rather inflate the price by adding gimmicky, unnecessary toys that all developers already have. Instead of getting developers on-side so that more apps can produced for the hardware, they're going to push developers to go with the long cheaper Oculus (which has been out longer, has cheap resale products and overall has taken a much better approach) or away from VR itself.
I'm currently sticking with Oculus/Cardboard development. I cannot jump onto a ship that's clearly unstable.
Also, for any people arguing that Australia has a higher minimum wage; we also have much higher living expenses and are taxed higher, so in the end it should balance out, but with our dollar plummeting (due to demand in coal, our major export, dropping massively) we're now being given the short end of the stick for the entire video game market.
So my GTX 960 4gb is not enough?
Which brand of the GTX 970 would you guys say would be a good buy? I've been eyeballing the Gigabyte version of the 970.gigabyte; nice oc potential, lowest temps out of probably all GTX 970 models, not too loud.
I'm AMD Radeon! Specifically AMD Radeon R9 380 Series
im currently using an nvidia geforce gtx 970what performance are you getting :I
wasnt nvidia saying 970?um, yeah, that's exactly what i said
Not sure he realizes that the target demographic is mostly kids (who, by the way, LOVE repetition - in fact, they often prefer it), and if it's successful, is actually a great business model. The only people who have an issue with this are people who are usually out of the recommended age range, lol.i was mostly referring to the first part, a software company laying off all of its employees because they are done working on a product. like, how do you come up with this
