You know the Raging Bull and S&W Model 500 are kind of the same? Both use the .500 S&W round, have 5 rounds cylinders, rougly 4 - 10 inch barrels, and I am sure you can put a scope on the Raging Bull, too.

Well alright then. If you ended up making it, would you add a scope? I think that would be the main appeal considering the stats.

Also I looked it up, and they do add scopes.

It's hard to say. I like both. But I would say the FNP since it will fill in the area we would see things like the USP. As for the raging bull, based on the stats you put, I think it would be better suited to something like a S&W 500 with a scope, so it would look and act like a hunting revolver. But that's just me. Overall I would pick the FNP, and save another revolver for later.

3 semis and 1 revolver would be pretty balanced, since revolvers are usually less common anyway.

Impossible, before I corrected the ranges the Truvelos max range was at 800. After correcting at 1600. Liar.

I only guessed that distance based on what I'd been seeing in the binoculars on other occasions. Maybe it wasn't that far. But it was one of the GSF maps without any fog or anything, so you could see for a pretty long distance.

Nice kill Shad.

I was pretty amazed. All I was doing was figuring out how much to correct for that hill, and in the process, someone literally walked into my bullet.

I got 2 guys in the head with a silenced R700 from about 750 feet away a week ago :P

I remember when the server was on one of the GSF maps, I hit someone with a truvelo from over 3000 away. I didn't aim at him, but he walked over a hill, and then the bullet went over the hill. And then BOOM. "Midair kill!". The bullet flew for so long. I just shot to measure the distance of the hill.

The wheels make it look like a hybrid of WW1 and WW2. It's pretty cool looking.

All of the shotguns should have Buckshot, Birdshot, and Slugs.

In a game like this, what purpose would birdshot have?

Eh, this is what I said?

Eh, I misread part of that. But then again, being awake for 14 hours a day probably isn't good for my perception.

I thought about something for different ammunition reloading. Ever played a game where you have quick-selection menus and stuff like that? Let's take the M79 as example. When you press light key to reload a small ring-like menu appears in the center of the screen. That ring is split into several parts (depending on how many ammunition types there are) and as soon as you move the mouse over one section the menu closes and loads the selected ammunition type. It's fast and simple. I might try that out.

That sounds pretty cool. I think once you have selected a new ammo type, the weapon should reload, for the sake of realism.

I would say buckshot because it's still technically a shotgun.
I would say slugs because the Jackhammer is unique looking, therefor should perform in a unique way.
I wouldn't say explosive rounds, because no matter how it performed, it would be designated the "noob weapon".

I voted buckshot. But I think it should be selective between buckshot and and slugs via /command. But since I know you hate making those, it will probably end up with slugs. Also, the new model is nice. The wood is a nice touch.

The AT4/Stinger glitch caused by addItem/setInventory/etc. events is fixed now. Currently I'm replacing the crappy grenade ammo system with the one I use for the weapons. That means you can refill grenades/etc. with ammo boxes and you'll get extra grenades/etc. with the tactical vest. Also, grenades can be thrown farther from now on (incereased by ~1/3).

[Edit]
Don't be suprised, I made a mistake with the teargas grenade. Also, the C4 and mines still need that fix.

Lets say I throw all 4 grenades. With this update to their ammo, will the item still be removed after the last one is thrown? Or will it remain there until you refill or drop it?

Awesome, you're actually going to do the stationary MG thing. In response to Moonlights opinion, I think it should take 2 to set up big MGs that use .50 and such. But what about smaller, weaker mounted MGs that can be used solo? Such as the PKM? And how about making a variant of the M249 that can be mounted? The smaller MGs could work just like the HMG on RTB, with the tradeoff of range, damage, etc.
