Use that to actually get a hold onto the people who would be willing to support you while also making an argument that only makes the other person look stupid when they say stuff about your past that's largely irrelevant.Grimlock never had to do it and drawing attention to things like that in drama is a scummy move and gains scummy supporters. He could have made Mr. Bones look stupid by using an actual argument since he clearly is trying and one coming fron him probably would have made him say something stupid.

Now, Mr. Bones was a richard sucking friend when he came and he's probably gonna be a richard sucking friend when he leaves, but attacking him on a personal level enables people to dogpile you for stuff you've done in the past.
