What is doom?
I'm lazy so I won't re-write this. So check out this .pdf of the doom 2 manual here

Source ports
 ZDoom
  (G)ZDoom downloads DOOM2.wad or DOOM.wad is required to use ZDoom.
  ZDoom v2.8.1 is the barebones source port. Non-openGL.
  GZDoom is an OpenGL version of ZDoom that provides a lot more options. It even adds bloom for brightmaps too.

Zandronum
  Zandronum.com
  Zandronum is multiplayer doom. Just like GZDoom you can use it as a source port for singleplayer too.

  Doom builder is an easy to use mapping program for Doom, Doom2, Chex quest, Hexen and heretic.

  GZDoomBuilder-Bugfix

Slade 3 (3.1.4 as of now)

  Slade 3 is the swiss army knife of doom editors. This is where you can make custom weapons, code & much much more.
  Note: to compile ACS in Slade 3, you need to go to ZDoom.org and download ACC to compile your ACS text files into a .acs format.

I tried to join a server and once I got done loading objects, it boots me out with a messagebox saying: '(invalid packet GameBase::unpackUpdate()).' However this is exclusive to one server I join and it doesn't do this on other servers.

I've set LimbReddening to false in the server.cs file of the zip and it's still reddening players & bots. If you don't know why I mean I'll give you a part of what I'm talking about.
