This is where your faith loses all of it's ground. You only believe in your religion because you are scared of your God not showing you any mercy if you are skeptical when one of the prospects of Christianity is forgiveness.

No, I believe in my religion BECAUSE of forgiveness.  I know if I'm skeptical, and trust me, I am sometimes, that God will forgive me.  You believe in Catholicism because you live in fear that forgiveness is not enough, so you run the rat race trying to make your infinitely sinful manhood worth getting into heaven.

I never said your religion was wrong.  Yours is just a different religion than Christianity, because when using Christianity's doctrines, your religion is not Christianity.

The Bible says it is not subjective, and if I'm supposed to believe the Bible, I have to believe that as well.  If you believe the Bible is subjective, then you don't believe the Bible.
It's not my decision or anybody's decision whether the Bible is subjective.  It's the Bible's.  As simple as that.

Well is dry now, unless you have something else to say.

Who are you to say whether the Bible is subjective or not?  The Bible has never been proven wrong.  And it's not gonna be proven right for a long time.  I choose to believe the Bible until it is proven wrong, rather than not believe it until it's proven right.

Well the Bible does state that the end times will occur and gives a list of situations to confirm this, and if anyone reads the news most of them have already taken place or are currently happening.

Okay, BREAKDOWN.

Yes, the Bible does state the end times will occur.

Yes, the Bible gives a list, however ambiguous and easy to misunderstand, of situations that will happen before the end times.

NO, none of the things that has been stated in the Bible as situations before the end times has happened in the news today, nor will it ever happen BECAUSE:

The first "end times" that Jesus talks about before the ascension happened in 70 A.D. with the fall of Jerusalem to Rome.
If you want verses, PM me, because this is the standard view, and the ONLY view that makes any sense whatsoever.

The second "end times" that the apostles talk about is misunderstood completely by a lot of folks.

Just for example, as you can PM if you want to really talk about this, when Paul says "it is the last hour", he doesn't mean the end times are near, he means (in the original greek), that this is the last age before the end times.

Remember, Jesus said he will come "like a thief in the night".  No one knows when the end times will occur, or even have a general idea if it's gonna happen sooner or later.



Folks, Ghost has a view that is not representative of real Christianity, in respect to the end times.

A fix or edit needs to be made to the mod before it should be used for one of these servers. Death messages from zombies and Downed seem to be broken by the v10 update, but I think they're fixable.

If you're running the server, do not run the "New Rewards" mod at the same time as Zombies. It edits how bottomPrint messages work and so breaks the weapon ammo counter.

If you must use one of the several slightly inaccurate machine guns on the forum, edit the code so they actually work with the ammo system (look at how Zombies did it with the Shotgun and Minigun), otherwise the one gun you have that doesn't take ammo to fire will be abused.

I don't think I know what the New Rewards mod is, or I even have it.  Does it come with Blockland as default?  Or with one of the server mods?

And I don't plan on using the ammo mod.  It's not sophisticated enough to use with how good the zombie code is.

I also don't plan on using the downed option either, it is broken, and I don't have the time to fix it.

Hopefully with the way it works now, even without ammo it'll still be challenging, trust me, I'll be testing the difficulty a lot.


UPDATE ON BUILD:

We have our first safe zone, no pics just yet, but I'll say it's quite blue, to signify the first stage of the level.  I'm planning on color-coding each stage by what color the safe room and some other miscellaneous stuff is.

Hopefully we can get some multi-level combat up, with zombies running up and down stairs.  I'm also planning on some attacks from above, as in, zombies jumping off of the roof of the building in front of you.

Some of the best parts of L4D come in rushing TO the safe room, with the passage full of zombies, rather than reach a point and defending.  So plan on opening a door to the next stage and trying to get to the button as fast as you can with zombies all over the place.

Remember, server name is Duck's Left4Block (WIP).

Well, I partially agree with him. I hate Christians who preach on online games and preach about 2012 and bullstuff like that.

I hate people who think that those folks are real Christians.



I love how any time religion is brought up on the internet, people say they hate Christians for doing things that no real Christian would ever do.

1. Most folks don't know what a real Christian is. Most online debaters fall into this group.

2. Real Christians do not believe the end times are near.  The correct belief according to the Bible is that no one ever knows.

3. Most people think Catholics, Jews, Mormons, and Muslims are real Christians (no offense to any folks here of those religions, I'm not saying anything bad about you).  They are not, and if you'd like to get their confessions of faith out and get a real Bible and compare them I'd be happy to do it for you.  That is one hurdle that's really hard for most folks to get over.

4. Most atheists defend atheism by calling it "opinion" and calling in the 1st amendment, while bashing other fellows with other beliefs.  Double standards strike again!

5. Most atheists defend atheism by saying "science" is on their side, while (1) giving no examples, (2) not realizing that atheism is a religion just like everything else (man-worship is still a religion), (3) real science doesn't prove anything, science is used to gather facts, facts do not speak for themselves, and the interpretations are different based on assumptions, assumptions which you cannot erase to be "neutral".

6. Most assumptions people make about Christianity are false, which even when realized by most online debaters, is not actually used in the debating process.  People just on this thread have made HUGE assumptions about Christian ethics, law, doctrine, etc. and most of them are COMPLETELY false.  Seriously, if you're gonna debate, learn what the other side is talking about.

I'm very happy when I find an atheist that's consistent with his view, and is actually open to debate with folks of other religions rather than some of the folks I've seen on this thread, which, should go directly to drama, not pass go, nor collect $200.

Hopefully this thread will take care of itself.

Okay, I figured out what my problem was, first, I totally missed the first part of the portforward.com page for blockland.  And because of that, I didn't have a static IP.  Those things are fixed, gonna test now.

Sorry for double post.

With some help from Bikerdude3000, I port forwarded.  I did everything that the tutorial here and the the tutorial at www.portforward.com said.

There was one discrepancy, the tutorial here said the private IP's last number (on the blockland TCP and UDP ports) was 45, the portforward.com just left it blank, which I assume means 0, because I can't leave it blank without it giving an error telling me not to leave it blank.

I went with 45, and my server still shows up as "dead" according to bikerdude.

So should I go with 0 or 45?

Any other things I should know with port forwarding?

Well, I have the server up right now actually, just set up all the add-ons and such.  So there is absolutely nothing there, yet.

Let me know if you can get on, if you don't even see it in the server list that means I have to do the stupid port forwarding thing.  I shouldn't have to, but maybe I do.
