hell yeah 1080p 60fps

also would there be a way to play html files locally? like an mp4 embedded inside?

there's some awesomium documentation on local filesystems but last time i tried it didn't work out
Yeah. Generally, as a rule of thumb, if Chromium can do it, so can this.

Modification Help / BLBrowser^2

what is this
basically bl-browser with cef

wtf do u mean CEF
it uses the chromium embedded framework (basically, it's like embedding chrome), which can allow for
  • 720p+ videos
  • a massive loving screen
  • 60 fps browser stuff
  • you can actually visit any url since it doesnt loving try to download everything
all said and told, cef is around 100 megs to throw in your blockland folder (yes, big, but it's the future).

<- example of it running at 1920x1440

download?
NOTE: THIS RELIES ON THE NEW BLOADER.
USE OF THIS DLL WILL REQUIRE THAT ANY DLLS THAT WERE MADE FOR THE OLD BLOCKLANDLOADER BE REMOVED.

Download
This was just built off of the source that's available from the repo. Any firewall requests are from Chrome, the DLL itself does not import WinSock, any networking libraries, etc.

Drag and drop everything that's in the installme folder into the Blockland folder. Do NOT use the launcher. Run the exe directly.
If you don't know how to install this, don't complain because this pre-release version was not meant for you.

That would be incredible if you could get it to work. Pah said they had tried to make it work but just couldn't make sense of it.

cef works

fyi, the framework bl-browser uses (awesomium) kinda sucks and doesn't support a lot of web standards. I tried to do music streaming for New Years via bl-browser but it ultimately just didn't work out because there was just problem after problem after problem with it not properly supporting web standards. Don't count on it working, at least not until Pah implements a more standards-conforming framework.
if pah won’t start some work on the CEF version, I’ll try to find some time in between procrastinating on blocklandjs and life..

yeah druid has been pretty strong in every case ever since I picked one up back in MoP
khaz is a puss tho and doesn’t main dk like a true alpha male
it takes complicated vector math to make your character (when you’re playing as a death knight) to make it work the way it does so don’t even try, bro.

Add-Ons / Re: Grappling Hook [mod edit by Conan]
« on: March 17, 2018, 11:56:40 PM »
But that's a non-fact though.

If you knew me irl, it'd be obvious that I'm sociable. In fact, my "failure" to manage the situation is entirely based on the fact that you guys have your own reputation structures on here, that are not at all applicable to who a person is irl. I haven't bothered to tame my statements to 'protect feelings' or be 'tactful', I agree. But online people tend to cultivate fake personas for who they are, instead of being their authentic selves.

I don't bother to do that at all. Anything I said on here, you can bet I'd say in real life if you met me. The same cannot be said for psuedo-alphas like Postal.
ya guis my failure on handling this situation is because ur all mentally and socially handicapped while im the chad here and i know what I’m talking about *flexes*

It has nothing to do with ego, or even myself. If you look at any of Conan's actual releases, that he made personally, none of them even come close to high level programming logic. To say that he could make this is an absurd lie. That's like if he took credit for New Duplicator or Slayer.
Ah, so, if we’re going for ego trips, can I say you’re mentally loving handicapped for not knowing how to reverse engineer Blockland? Or develop DLL mods for it? No? Shut the actual forget up then. Conan isn’t a dumbass. He knows what he’s talking about— and even when he doesn’t, he’s willing to learn. You, on the other hand, continually have to act like you’re entitled to some special privilege where everybody has to suck your richard to get addons. I called you an entitled cunt for this very reason. I hate your type. Acting like an Internet tough guy doesn’t make you actually tough, or cool. It just makes you look like a massive starfish. Oh— and I wouldn’t mind saying this stuff to your face in person. No matter how loving tough or burly you are. If you’re a richard, I’m going to construct a valid argument on what makes you a richard, then present it to you. Punch me in the face? I don’t give a stuff. I’ll just end up calling the police on you for assaulting a 14 year old. See how that goes down.

I know you can't see this cause of your delusions, but Conan is being petty and passive aggressive. Maybe when you get into the real world and get some social experience, it'll become more obvious.
Conan is legitimately the sweetest and non-passive aggressive person I’ve met that’s actually really cool. I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

Cool. Why don't you change the topic name to "Hata's Grappling Hook (Edit)" though, since as you said, I made 90% of it.
oh boy your entitled ass is here again

Development / Re: 2018/03/16 - Blockland r1988

DLLs will still work so long as the authors used basic update-proofing measures like sigscanning. The only thing that can break them is changing the functions they use so the scan fails, or modifying hooked functions such that the arguments are different or new control flow breaks them, which is unlikely with these changes.

DLL loaders will break if they use something like modifying the imports table to load a bootstrap DLL. This is easily fixable with a tool that can change the PE header, though.

It might be time to reevaluate where DLL modifications are going before the existing problems keep multiplying. Many are made naively and should follow some rules, i.e proper function hooking to maintain compatibility, linking against Blockland's runtime instead of having a billion different ones because authors use whatever visual studio they have (also breaking wine support), more control over when loading and unloading happens, etc.
well of course changing the function will modify the signature you silly goose..
also there is about no way in hell that i'm going to link against the runtime libraries that are as old as i am. the mixing and matching isnt good but i'm not on board with linking against libraries that are from the literal stone age (i'm fairly certain c++1x features aren't going to work)

the rest of your concerns are going to be addressed soon, though.. keep your eyes peeled :o

i made alot of odd design choices that were based around the blockland executable never being recompiled or having any changes done to that. it'll take maybe 5-10 minutes to fix, and another 10-20 to find the signature for Con::tabComplete (self-explanatory.. tab complete support :P)
blocklandjs update soon (tm)

other then that no the majority of dlls should be fine because the major dll base that's been going around has the majority of functions being found through sigscanning-- sooo
