unsubscribe from anything overtly political and go for neutral content. avoid the right wing and the left wing stuff and stay for neutral content, and detach yourself from politics/the news. i did it and it’s made a better impact on me.

i can respect the protesting and the message they're putting out but it doesn't truely address the actual problem

oh yeah don't associate me with that nutjob matthew, i think guns are still a loving issue but i don't think going about taking away every single gun is a good idea and there are better ways to address it instead of going that route (which would be both economically and practically infeasible)

i find that this protest is very unlikely to actually produce any positive outcome, as well as i don't agree with the message
while yes i agree that guns in the us are a bit ridiculous, focusing on taking away one avenue for people to cause harm does not take away the actual thoughts of causing harm to themselves, or others. focusing on mental health is a much more important avenue that the us needs to focus on, not gun reform in itself.

i mean it's all about muh guns in the current administration so what's really going to happen-- lawmakers make some stupid ass compromise and avoid the real problem backing it? have you noticed that nearly all of the honor students in recent times have either had a mental disability/have a history of being bullied? and-- i don't mean focusing on bullying in the hand-holding kind of way that it's currently being done. that's bullstuff, and the system doesn't work. i speak from personal experience.

what security is there on writing to certain locations and to certain critical files?

With v8.2.0-PRERELEASE, filesystem operations are now sandboxed. You can now only write to files in subfolders of the Blockland folder. Trying to open a file that is outside of the Blockland/ folder will result in it throwing, and refusing to do anything.
TL;DR: security has just been increased 10fold

v8.1.9 has been released. i have finally added full cycling autocomplete support, as well as fast member field retrieval has been somewhat finished.

blocklandjs is receiving a major update which will allow for fast member field retrieval
some examples out in the wild already:

the js autosaver makes extensive use of it, and as such can save massive amounts of bricks 33 times faster then torquescript. if you are relying on converting from a string to an array, we already do that internally, so be warned.
