http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/334424-richard-spencer-loses-gym-membership-after-confrontation

""First, I want to note that this man is a supreme coward," Fair wrote. "When I approached this flaccid, sorry excuse of a man and asked ‘Are you Richard Spencer,' this pendulous poltroon said 'No. I am not.'"

She then proceeded to exploit "the full range of my first amendment entitlements by telling him that this country does not belong to white men."

""I don't know [why they revoked it]," Spencer told BuzzFeed. "I was a well-behaved member of this gym, I did not cause any controversy."

"I'm really a model-gym goer. I don't bother anyone. I don't talk to anyone. I really just go and lift weights," he added.

Spencer has been a controversial political figure in recent months, and was also kicked out of the Conservative Political Action Conference in February. "

http://www.eonline.com/news/846871/no-food-no-water-no-luxury-tents-the-12-000-per-ticket-disaster-that-was-the-short-lived-fyre-festival

"Wilmot and his friends were relatively lucky. They saw festivalgoers on the grounds, stranded, surrounded by luggage with nowhere to sleep for the night. They watched in horror as festival employees tossed visitors' bags off a freight truck and "people were just rummaging through them." They decided to escape early this morning, bathed in the ocean, brushed their teeth with bottled water and paid a festival employee $100 to return them to the airport in a flatbed truck. When they arrived at the airport gate, an official told them they couldn't access the airport unless they were on one of the two festival school buses – but Wilmot and his friends paid $40 to move past the barricade."

(also known as "DashCon for rich people")

in summary, Ja Rule promised a bunch of bougie instagram kids a luxury music festival in the bahamas like never before for only $12,000 a ticket, only for them to get there and find a FEMA camp serving half-made cheese sandwiches

honestly this is the funniest news that i could have ever possibly received today this is iconic

Off Topic / Fox News Has Officially Fired Bill O'Reilly

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/04/sources-fox-news-has-decided-bill-oreilly-has-to-go.html

"The Murdochs have decided Bill O’Reilly’s 21-year run at Fox News will come to an end. According to sources briefed on the discussions, network executives are preparing to announce O’Reilly’s departure before he returns from an Italian vacation on April 24. Now the big questions are how the exit will look and who will replace him."

http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/fox-news-bill-oreilly-loveual-harassment-1202033807/

"The groundswell of pressure on O’Reilly and the leaders of 21st Century Fox started April 1 when the New York Times published a detailed report of $13 million in settlements that O’Reilly and Fox News had paid out to five women. The report sparked advertiser defections and public pressure campaigns by organizations such as UltraViolet and Color of Change."

i had no idea any of this was happening to be honest, he was on air for so damn long.

Custard: Smooth, thick cream made with egg yolks and milk. Melts fast.
(Also known as soft serve)

Ice Cream: Malleable, utilitarian, long lasting flavor. Frozen, sometimes with items mixed in. Can be a pain to scoop.
("Traditional," found in Ben & Jerry's and Cold Stone Creamery)

Sorbet: Typically fruity and sweet, frozen water that occasionally has ingredients other than flavoring mixed in. Seriously, it's just frozen water.
(Typically offered as an alternative to Ice Cream in ice cream shops)

Frozen Yogurt: Yogurt, except it's frozen.

Off Topic / the government is trying to give my cat an abortion, AMA
« on: April 08, 2017, 05:09:37 PM »
ok so the title isnt entirely accurate but its hard to explain otherwise

there is a wild cat that comes to my house every couple of months, and she's pregnant as forget every single time. she then bums off of our cat food until her babies are old enough to live on their own and then she leaves, but the babies stay behind to eat our cat food.

this leads to us giving the babies away to adoption, but this time we didnt really want to deal with that this time. cats born in the wild are far less likely to be adopted than kittens born in a contained environment, so we decided we would try to give the mother cat to a willing shelter who could take care of the kittens and the mother from now on.

however, every single shelter we have contacted so far has recommended bringing the cat in for an actual Cat Abortion. they have all stated that they will do cat abortions all the way up to the last minute of pregnancy, essentially by just pulling the mother's entire womb out.

now honestly i know cat shelters are super overcrowded, but giving 'my' cat an abortion is not really my favorite option.

also if im gonna be honest i kinda wanna see a cat giving birth

so anyways this is sort of an AMA / hey what the forget do i do here thread

ill post pics of the pregnant cat later (aliases include Momma, Big Momma, Baby Momma, Preggo, etc.)

""The Syrian army holds the terrorist groups and those supporting them responsible for the use of chemical and poisonous material and for the careless wasting of innocent civilians' lives to achieve their despicable goals and agendas," the statement said."

http://gizmodo.com/this-is-almost-certainly-james-comey-s-twitter-account-1793843641

"But fortunately for us, there are only seven accounts on Twitter currently using some variation of “Reinhold Niebuhr” as a user name.

And only one that seemed to be operating in stealth: @projectexile7.

But how to be sure? There is only one person currently following the account: Benjamin Wittes of Lawfare. Wittes is no Twitter neophyte. He is an active user with more than 25,000 followers, and he only follows 1,178 accounts—meaning he is not a subscriber to the “followback” philosophy. If he is following a random egg—and is the only account following it—there is probably a reason.

That reason could be the fact that, as Wittes wrote here, he is a personal friend of James Comey…

Project Exile happens to be a federal program that James Comey helped develop when he was a U.S. attorney living in Richmond. And then, of course, there are the follows."
