Kimon it's not tribal because the inauguration doesn't match your requirements of the minimum amount of minorities or whatever cigarettegy stuff you come up with in your head. It's probably because Kanyes music is stuff and they don't have the heart to tell him

im saying it's entirely reasonable to suspect racism when an event dying for performers turns down a talented performer for not being "traditionally american" enough, especially when this was not a requirement beforehand. not to mention "traditional america" usually carries the connotation of a white-dominated society, so it's incredibly poor word choice at best.

another thing worth mentioning is if they were so focused on blasting only pro-america feel good songs then they probably wouldn't have played "Born in the USA" at his events. unless of course the people in charge of selecting music weren't self-aware enough to check the lyrics of the song before playing it.

at what point did i say that Annoying Orange was personally responsible for this decision? i would HOPE he has better things to do at the moment than sift through performers.

looking at the article, he actually said that the inauguration event is "typically and traditionally American" and that Kanye's music would not fit

they had three doors down performing at their inaguration, what about them is "traditionally american"? if you turn down a willing and incredibly famous black performer at a concert where there are, to my knowledge, few or exactly 0 black performers, on the basis of his music not being traditionally american enough, (even though they have a late 90's - early 2000's rock band performing) people have every right to interpret it as tribal. not sure why racism among Annoying Orange's groups are surprising though, honestly.

i've watched basically nothing and mostly because other people apparently liked it
just Fairy Tail, Soul Eater, and Puella Magi Madoka Magika
recommend (non-adult) anime (that my parents won't kill me for watching) please
preferably something with a good dub, because gosh darn it I don't know japanese despite wanting to learn it and subtitles are weird, my brain no likey

fullmetal alchemist if you want something on netflix

other than that some good Entry Level Anime is one punch man, dragon ball, and death note. decent english dubs. come back when you wanna hear about some REAL MAN anime that dont have english dubs
