As it turns out, the "tapping" was the sound of a brick of C4 being planted on the side, not visble to the crew of the ship due to the curved-in nature of the hull of your average boat.

Some search parties do not return from the forest.  The pod, however, is found.  It has several spaces in it for weapons, all empty.

And I did pull out, dumbass.  Watcher doesn't need my harbors, he has his own.

Emmerian ships are not allowed back into their ports, and are left to simply sink whenever they run out of fuel.

Aribissia claims that the poisoning is not on their part, and that the waters of the Porlaq river run clean through Aribissia.

Defenses on the Emmerian-Aribissia front are repaired.  Landmines are lain down under the soild and barbed wire and tank stoppers line the previous battlefield.  MTHEL units are salvaged and repaired and weapons are recovered.  Wounded soldiers are sent to medical bays immediately.  Meanwhile, the soldiers that paradropped are no where to be found.  Then again, they never were even looked for by the Emmerian gov't, and Aribissian officials refuse to set foot on Emmerian soil.  The Aribissian navy is undergoing repairs and salvage teams attempt to bring up what they can of the ruins of the Emmerian ships thirty miles out.

Actually it was still spread among your troops.  You know, because when Anthrax scud missiles hit their target they still explode. 

Aribissian troops successfully oust the invaders from their country and begin slowly but surely pushing forward.  More troops also sent to the frontlines and it seems the at insurgents have also taken up arms and are assisting the Aribissian military.  Frequent air strikes, scud missile launches, and shelling seems to have spread the Emmerian forces thin.
