There are many downsides to the railgun, and it's not like my soldiers are one-handing them, they are extremely heavy and take around 30 seconds to charge (will be improved in near future)and it has a hell of a kick, and must be bipod mounted to be fired efficiently.

New Manhattan begins improving upon the Syriakian stealth suit design. A prototype will be available in approximately two years.
Also : New Manhattan's new handheld railgun.
EDIT: In other news, a new firearms manufacturer has opened up in New Manhattan, called "Frontline Security"
They have released a new assault rifle :
FLS Defender
Uses a 7.62x54 round.

A large gathering of New Manhattan citizens and Syriakian immigrants alike forms in the plaza in front of the capital building. On a platform in front of the barbed wire fence that surrounds the capital's facility stands the Syriakian president. The president wears one of the finest white suits in New Manhattan, easily visible in front of the black metal wall behind him, his hands tied behind his back. A firing squad lines up in front of him, approximately five men, armed with ceremonial rifles. Monitors all over the city display the execution live, as a man to the side of the group shouts, "Ready, aim!" the five men raise their rifles, aiming them at the president.
"Fire!"
The word echoes throughout the silent plaza, followed by five loud bangs, the president's suit begins to turn red around several holes in his chest. He drops to the ground, dead.
