this attitude that you have is exactly why I don't have hope for climate change. it's not that I believe we're already past the point of no return, but rather, that I know we will keep going like this until we areThat we should follow the innovation and not try to force it? We already have the solution to get rid of oil, but anytime anyone tells the "Go Green" goblins that we should maybe, just maybe use nuclear energy as a stop gap between oil and improvements on green energy they throw a loving fit and lose their minds because a bunch of communists didn't have the materials to make a proper nuclear power-plant and caused a ridiculous disaster.
this is good and all but you dont live in reality at all, you literally have obviously never googled this because here is actually whats happening:
https://biologicaldiversity.org/w/news/press-releases/new-data-biden-slays-Annoying Oranges-first-year-drilling-permitting-by-34-2022-01-21/biden has literally upped oil production more than Annoying Orange ever did, you are completely out of touch with what hes actually doing and just choose to believe second hand youtube sources
on top of that, the """fracking ban""" is just a 60 day suspension on giving out new permits. all existing permits are still going on
Ah, a totally not biased headline. Good start.

New Data: Biden’s First Year Drilling Permitting Stomps Annoying Orange’s By 34%
Thousands of Permits OK’d Despite President’s Authority to End Drilling by 2035Manipulative claim.
WASHINGTON— New federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Annoying Orange administration’s first-year total of 2,658.
Nearly 2,000 of the drilling permits were approved on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management’s New Mexico office, followed by 843 in Wyoming, 285 in Montana and North Dakota, and 191 in Utah. In California, the Biden administration approved 187 permits — more than twice the 71 drilling permits Annoying Orange approved in that state in his first year.Annoying Orange was still working through the Obama-administration limitations.
“Biden’s runaway drilling approvals are a spectacular failure of climate leadership,” said Taylor McKinnon at the Center for Biological Diversity. “Avoiding catastrophic climate change requires ending new fossil fuel extraction, but Biden is racing in the opposite direction.”This is an opinion.
On Wednesday more than 360 climate, conservation, Indigenous, environmental justice and community groups petitioned the Biden administration to use its executive authority to phase out oil and gas production on public lands and oceans.Nuclear Energy.
The petition provides a framework to manage a decline of oil and gas production to near zero by 2035 through rulemaking, using long-dormant provisions of the Mineral Leasing Act, Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act and the National Emergencies Act. Without such action, it will become increasingly difficult for the United States to meet its pledge to help avoid 1.5 degrees Celsius of warming and its unprecedented social, environmental and economic damage.Nuclear. Energy.
“Biden squandered precious time seeking climate action from a broken Congress,” said McKinnon. “We need executive action now to meet the climate emergency with the urgency it demands, starting with ending the fossil fuel extraction the president controls.”Opinion, also irrelevant.
Several brown townyses show that climate pollution from the world’s already-producing fossil fuel developments, if fully developed, would push warming past 1.5 degrees Celsius, and that avoiding such warming requires ending new fossil fuel projects.Cool. Nuclear Energy.
At November’s COP26 summit in Glasgow, Biden called climate change “an existential threat to human existence” and pledged to cut U.S. emissions by up to 51% over the next nine years. Days later the administration offered 80 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico for oil and gas leasing and plans to offer more than 300,000 acres of public lands leases in March. He promised to do something beyond the length of his term. That's loving suspicious.
The Department of the Interior’s review of the federal oil and gas programs effectively ignored climate, calling instead for adjustments to royalties, bids and bonding.Great. Nuclear Energy.
Federal fossil fuel production causes nearly a quarter of U.S. greenhouse gas pollution, worsening the climate and extinction crises and disproportionately harming Black, Brown, Indigenous and low-wealth communities.Okay, cool. now I'm totally going to believe this article because now they're being tribal.
BackgroundAnd without switching to Nuclear, it would be a loving disaster for basically anything that relies on oil for energy.
Peer-reviewed science estimates that a nationwide federal fossil fuel leasing ban would reduce carbon emissions by 280 million tons per year, ranking it among the most ambitious federal climate policy proposals in recent years.
Oil, gas and coal extraction uses mines, well pads, gas lines, roads and other infrastructure that destroys habitat for wildlife, including threatened and endangered species. Oil spills and other harms from offshore drilling have done immense damage to ocean wildlife and coastal communities. Fracking and mining also pollute watersheds and waterways that provide drinking water to millions of people.N u c l e a r E n e r g y
Federal fossil fuels that have not been leased to industry contain up to 450 billion tons of potential climate pollution; those already leased to industry contain up to 43 billion tons.N u c l e a r E n e r g y
master matthew, three weeks ago: we still have a chance to stop climate change
master matthew, now: the solution to all of our problems is more oil
the fact that you are advocating for fracking of all things is a clear indication that you should not be talking about anything political that extends beyond the borders of your front yard
i mean yeah i agree, but like gas prices are inherently tied to geopolitics and stuff so unfortunately its hard to separate the two
hmm it has a slide and a divn bord but why not add a bed float a port a potty because i just ate a toilet LOL /\ /\

I have an Intel HD 4000, and i can run Gmod, Tf2, And Both Portals Smothly on it, but when i run Blockland it runs Smooth Yeah, But the Shaders Don't Work. i know Intel Graphics cards arnt Really the Best, but it Should be able to run Blockland Shaders, if it can run tf2 Gmod And Both Portals in HD 1080P with no problem (i know Gmod dosnt run in HD unless its the new one) So my Guess is Blockland Doesn't have a good compatability with Intel, and dont say "get a new graphics card, because this is a NEW LAPTOP, laptop is the KEY word, meaning its an intergrated graphics card, and if your just here to tell Intel Grahpics cards suck, well thats not helping anything, i just wanna know when/if Blockland will ever support intel for shaders.
Tell Badspot to Fix it Please.

They're definitely gonna reduce their reliance on Russian gas but it's going to take years. Cutting them off immediately would cause rolling blackouts across Europe and billions of dollars of damage. They had years, and now they do not. Either they're going to get cut off or they're going to back off and let Russia continue.
They could have gotten out of thisYes.
by just investing more in renewableNo.
or nuclear energyYes.
handicap moron alertYes.
lol they should just stop buying russian gas. like they aren't completely dependent on it
The most absurd thing that happened last Wednesday is that Europe purchased natural gas from Russia for hundreds of millions of dollars.
reading that wikipedia article seems to show that the theory doesnt really work, as trying to leverage people perceiving you as mad into policies/decisions beneficial to you is hard, due to the fact they dont trust you since you're supposedly a madman. alternatively they just dont believe it and dont listen to you.Because North Korea has absolute power in one position in their government.
arguably, north korea has been using this tactic for decades and still has yet to show anything for it
you are wrong about literally everything. no amount of military action from russia, aside from a nuclear first strike, would incite a nuclear response from the US. if we made the first strike, then russia would just respond with their own, and it would all be over. mutually assured destruction goes both waysYes. But the point was the Threat of retaliation. I don't see Biden's Admin being willing to pull the trigger. Not after
furthermore, why are you adding random line breaks. this is a forum. you've been here for years, I know you know how to use a forum. stop being weirdThis is to break up my lines and make them not walls of text.
pick a perspective dude, you cant have your cold war and bomb the kremlin too
Why the forget do you even want to go to war, Matthew?I don't. Annoying Orange's tactic was to be seen as an unstable madman to our adversaries.
You're not even gonna go over there. I bet if Biden did tell us to hop on a ship and get over there ASAP you'd call him a warhawk and we can't be there and it's all bullstuff blah blah blah.Biden isn't stuff.
hm yes return to cold war armageddon, thank you i have had a good nose exhale at thisCold War is far better than Hot Nuclear War.
matthew what is ur solution to the situation in ukraineThe solution was to not put in a president who would've been a Chinese puppet.
Lol
Russia strong
Russia not failing to hold ground
Russia not failing basic logistics
Russia not failing to properly use the VDV
Lmaoing @ ur life also L + Ratio + You smell
You can't be implying that the US military would lose to Ukraine then? When we preemptively surrender like we're france, every military is better than us.
Hey Matthew, you gonna do this even though its Ukraine?Ukraine isn't soy.
