Can't see why they'd develop a totally new SSB when they already have so much made from SSB4, but who knows.Could it be that this is the Melee sequel we always wanted? Was Smash 4 a continuation and improvement of Brawl-style smash? Were they always planning to make another Melee-style one after Smash 4???
the virtual wii on the wii u cannot play gamecube games without modification unless my brief google search has mislead meyeah ik, thats how I play melee at home
at this point, you can play gamecube games on an emulator (dolphin) without much troubleidk if OP has a competent enough PC

The Wii U has a Wii simulator inside it, so you should stick to the Wii U.more importantly, the virtual Wii is capable of playing GameCube games, meaning it can play Melee
