Obviously they mean the BLF discord servers.

Unity does allow for physics materials, but that might not work for bricks.
What about the anti-water zones? They might be really helpful for building cool underwater structures.

And how about gravity and anti-gravity zones, and maybe along with them implement maps that are entirely anti-gravity which would allow for awesome space builds?

This whole project has so much potential.

A way to make a sort of anti-water space so boats and submarines can work normally.

Spreading fire over flammable objects.

Brick materials that have different density, destructibility, flammability, buoyancy, etc. (doesn't Unity have something like this built-in for physics objects or something?)

toad's tool 64 except humans can use it this time
Ohhh I remember that. That was fun.

What about a way of easily getting and playing these levels though?
I don't want to download a new rom for every custom level I play.

its not trivial to switch engines like that. hes got enough work done so far that switching would set back progress for months, assuming he isnt doing this full time or even half time
Yeah, I know. I was just throwing an idea out there.

And you'll be able to attach things like wheels and other bricks to builds to create your own vehicles.
Sold

Only recommendation I have after that is maybe use an open source engine so you don't have to pay royalties if you want to sell the game.
Something like Godot, which is under the MIT license. It's also my favorite game engine simply due to how it's designed, but that's just preference.

will u be able to break the "single objects" apart for cool physics reasons
Follow-up question
Will there be hinges and stuff so you can add wheels to these single objects?
And then going a step further, could one motorize these hinges to create a vehicle out of planted bricks?

These are things I've wanted to do in BL since I was 11.

Yoooo

Something like BL on a modern engine sounds fantastic. Can't wait for it to be playable.

why did people ever use it in the first place?

I don't understand how people can get confused, we don't have a President Maduro
People aren't confused when they read the post, they're confused when they read the title.
It's basically clickbait.

TBH, "Ow the Edge" memes aside, the gameplay is actually decent.
but, damn, it got away.
There's too much stuff. Way too much stuff. I forgot how many times you have to play the game to get the true ending but it was too many.

Original sonic did.
Original Sonic was a lot harder. Lots of games back then were designed to last a long time, and to be played over and over again until one can consistently win. And, tbh, I think later games like S3&K had way better level design than the original.

When are they going to stop milking sonic?
When people stop buying it.

Super fast sonic character.

Enemies are turtle speed slow with telegraphed moves and with the reaction time of a goldfish with downsyndrome.

Where's the challenge? Accidentally not bumping into a wall?
Finishing the level faster than your previous best. A lot of enemies are really only there to provide something to home onto while moving through the level.

Sonic moves at crazy speeds, I don't think we need a fancy head-up icon showing up telling you when the enemy is about to shoot their long ass charge cannon.

Sonic is fast enough to dodge at instant speeds anyways without help.
Expecting the player to have instant reaction times is dumb. And I think Forces is being marketed towards a younger audience than Mania.
