as i said before i cannot prove that god exists.
My belief is based on simple faith.

You can believe in God without denying scientific fact...

pretty much all the evidence i have seen is just text.

on or off the internet.

This is an image of the background radiation left over from the big bang. The fact that there is heat energy (shown by warmer colors) points directly towards a cosmic expansion.

Are you going to prove straight out to me that it exists or are you just going to give me text.

I can only communicate it to you through text, what the forget.

Does the physical evidence exist or does it not?

Yes. Are you going to read anything or just keep asking that question?

So if you ignore the knowledge that the fly is buzzing by you, what difference does it makes?

My belief is based on simple faith.

I cannot prove he exists.

We're not asking you to. It's been proven that the big bang and evolution actually do / did happen, and yet you reject them? Why does this hurt your faith? The Bible was written by men, you know.

Ever heard the saying from a christian, "God is just"

God is not "just". I was a Zoroastrian for most of my life, and that means I broke several commandments. Now I'm going to hell. How just is that?

I'm am not going to take text written by a man's word for it.

Physical evidence, i don't want someone who talks big.

wat

If you're refusing to read anything, how the forget are you going to get any evidence? Do you expect me to stuff it out and take a picture?

You're an idiot.

So your saying ignorance is a bad thing? If you ignore the fly that buzzed by you, it won't make much of a difference in your life. Unless you care so much that it just might land on your body.

Ignoring something != ignorance. Not knowing what ignorance means is ignorance.

Your not doing what i asked you.

If i don't see proof then i won't believe you.

After all like alot of atheists point out, "Seeing is believing"

I asked you a question, too.

Anyway, read the wikipedia article on the subject.

I know science is more then studying a simple mullusk from the sea and determining if it will die in 30 seconds due to location change, temperature change, etc.

Not trusting science is the height of ignorance.

Same goes for you, buddy.

Your point is...? There's valid logic, and there's also irrelevant logic.

Now...show me the proof.

Would you even pay attention / accept it?

So can you science people really prove the big bang happened.

Yes. Just because we don't know what caused it doesn't mean it couldn't have happened. Do you know what caused Riddler to start the Holocaust?

I would like to state that Tom Gunn does not represent the religious portion of this forum.

There are more creationists here than you think. Non creationists I'm actually mostly fine with, but it's fun to mess with you guys.  :cookieMonster:

No, but I can understand how some people like to comfort them selves by thinking that there is a "higher being" that knows and sees everything and how they will be rewarded in life after death if they have lived by some moral guide lines.

Moral?

bigot.

Belief is something that you are not born with. If presented with valid logic, it can be changed over time. I don't support the radical claims that religion should be forcibly abolished and that the 1st amendment be removed. I am a bigot only because religious beliefs are not unchangeable nor are they something people are born with.

I'm an arrogant prick, but so is your God. At least you don't worship me, eh?

So if the big bang never happened evolution could not have happened either.

Well, obviously not because the Universe wouldn't exist...

How about we find out when we are all dead k?

You say that believing we will burn in hell and that you will be rewarded for being an ignorant jackass.

Creationists already have been proven wrong. The existence of God is a different matter

tell me what did the big bang do?

If they are both different things do you believe in both of them?

The Big Bang (with overwhelming evidence; there is more evidence for the Big Bang than existence of the Dodo bird) was the rapid expansion and cooling of the universe from a singularity. Evolution only began its process a few billion years ago; the Big Bang happened 13.6 billion years ago.
